He said why don't you come up here and see what I'm talking about, and you can decide if you want it painted or not, but I don't see the need. Once I got there, he showed me, and I couldn't agree more with the work. Most shops will just say in needs it to, so you spend your money, but he pretty much said you don't need to spend the $500 you thought. Talk about integrity!!! Took it to Discount Tire and they recommended taking it to Absolute Wheel to see if they could fix it before having to fork over $400 to replace the wheel. Guys were awesome and very professional. The sales rep we spoke to said they didn't do down payments for holding a car; that it was first come first serve. They asked for pictures of our trade in vehicle, documents like drivers license, etc to start the paperwork process for the purchase of the promised vehicle. We scheduled the drive for that Saturday since we have a 1-year-old son at home and dog. We were so looking forward to the purchase. Thursday evening, the sales rep called to tell us the vehicle had been purchased by someone else. We inquired how since our paperwork was already in process. Immediately, the sales manager got on the phone without asking any of the information about the situation. He clarified that a down payment wasn't put on the vehicle to hold it. The sales rep we worked with either lied about this policy or didn't know the correct one. Because of his mistake, we lost the opportunity to buy our dream family car we saved up for. The manager I spoke with was unkind and harsh. He wasn't willing to rectify the situation or admit that his employee made an error. The dealership's overall manager told me they would look to find us another car similar. I got two messages, and nothing after that. These are greedy people. They only care about money, and they don't keep their word. We've bought multiple cars at CarMax, and had wonderful experiences. Go through them!!! That's where we're buying our dream car now. Our agent hasn't been pushy, and has gone out of his way to make things work for us.

We took the car to another dealership (Sewell in Dallas) which has won numerous service and other awards and rated one of the best service dealerships in the country. After a thorough inspection by Sewell...The repairs AllStar prescribed were deemed totally not needed and would not have fixed the problem. A simple $189 wheel alignment was all that was required. In a previous situation AllStar prescribed a $1,600 brake job which another shop did for about $435. The service manager at Allstar was rude whenever we asked for clarification on the charges. It on the surface appears that they like to over charge a run up bills to enhance shop profits. Just our experience.
