I had a great experience working with Matt Young at Stralen Young, LLP. Matt represented me in my personal injury case after a car accident, and throughout the entire process, he was professional, responsive, and straightforward with me. He took the time to explain what was happening, answered my questions, and made sure I understood my options rather than making me feel like I was just another case. Matt was able to successfully settle my personal injury case, and I was very pleased with how everything was handled. What really stood out to me, though, was that his help went beyond the accident case. I had also been dealing with a child support issue that had dragged on for years and had become incredibly frustrating. Matt stepped in and helped me finally get that situation resolved as well. Having something that had been hanging over me for so long finally taken care of was a huge relief. I truly appreciate Matt's professionalism, communication, and willingness to help me through both situations. I would absolutely recommend Matt Young and Stralen Young, LLP to anyone looking for an attorney who is knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely committed to helping his clients. Thank you again, Matt, for everything you did for me. Definitely a 5-star experience! read more

Not sure where Yelp put my previous review but sometimes they get removed. I was referred to Matt by a good friend so I knew he was trustworthy before I even talked to him. He handled a case for me regarding a vicious pit bull attack. Matt was very professional and got the job done with minimal expense. Great attorney who knows what he is doing. read more

Matt was recommended to me by a personal friend who is also an attorney and reviewed my case. My friend felt Matt would handle it better, and I'm so glad I took that advice. Matt kept us updated throughout the entire case and was very professional, responsive, and easy to work with. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend him to anyone needing a strong attorney read more

Unfortunately, I recently injured myself in the beginning of 2023 and had never experienced the process of trying to get reimbursed for the cost out of pocket for such an injury. Because of my inexperience, and the difficulty associated with slip and fall suits, I was rejected by half a dozen firms before receiving a referral to Matt Young. Matt Young was truly the best case scenario. He was flexible with his schedule, allowing me to come in over the weekend so as not to lose more PTO. We met up quickly and I laid everything out. He was careful to explain the difficulty in winning these cases and the timeline to be expected - saying it could be up to 3 years before I got resolution. I was so ecstatic just to have someone that didn't dismiss my injury entirely, but Matt was motivated to win for me and a weight was immediately lifted. I signed his terms and to my surprise, it wasn't more than three months before I heard back from him. He had filed a lawsuit and the other attorney already wanted to talk settlements. It's now less than six months since my surgery and I have a check in hand that FAR exceeds what I sought initially. Matt was a bulldog, who exhibited integrity, perseverance and a genuine care for my circumstances. In addition, he lowered his attorney fee by several THOUSAND due to the case being settled so quickly. I hope all those other attorneys that rejected me take a page from Mr. Young's book. I never, in my wildest dreams, could have anticipated such a smooth, lucrative and life changing outcome and I owe it all to Matt Young. I hope I am never in this situation again but if I am I would return to Matt straight away. I am in safe hands here read more

If you're clicking on the reviews then you've come to the right place for a personal injury attorney. If Matt Young takes you on as a client, he will fight for your case and will make every effort to get you the best results. First off, it's a plus to be able to meet your attorney in person to discuss the case. Make sure you are prepared when you discuss your case with him. Keep all your documents in order; doctor's letters, police report, treatments and receipts, etc. I brought my case to Matt two years ago, I was a victim of severe rear-end collision by a DUI driver (my car was completely totaled). The other driver was found at fault, he was severely intoxicated and I later found out he was also heavily armed at the time. Thankfully Law Enforcement responded quickly to the scene, he was arrested and later convicted. As a result of the collision, I suffered severe injuries that required a multitude of treatments and will require I maintain a treatment plan for years to come. Matt was extremely supportive and helpful in providing guidance in terms of documenting injuries and seeking treatment. Matt explained the legal process thoroughly and provided a realistic time frame. He ensured all the proper paperwork was submitted to the other parties insurance as well as mine (I had under insurance motorist coverage-highly recommended). Matt was respectfully aggressive/professional with the other parties insurance when they counter offered with an unfair settlement. Although it was a long drawn out process and I relived the trauma of that day, Matt continually kept me informed of the progress and was always available to answer my questions and/or hear my concerns. He was able to achieve a more than desirable settlement for me with both insurance companies. I am extremely grateful for his services and would highly recommend him. read more

I needed a personal injury lawyer for my mother who was in a car accident. We were referred to Matt Young by a friend. I was skeptical about hiring a trust worthy attorney, but as soon as we met Matt, we knew right away we would hire him. He is genuine, honest, very personable, and answered any questions or concerns we had about our case in a quick timely manner. We were aware of every step in the process. He also closed our case in record time. I thought it would take us two years, but he got it closed in less than 6 months. We had an awesome experience with him. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a personal injury lawyer. read more

We had an amazing experience with Matt and could not recommend him enough for someone going through a Personal Injury claim/incident. The fact that he only practices this type of law makes him so knowledgeable and in our opinion, the best person for the job. He was very efficient in resolving my mom's ongoing claim for the best possible result . Not only was he very personable, he made the entire legal process very seamless and easy to understand. He explained every step of the way and was always communicative and willing to take time out of his day to answer any lingering questions. Thank you so much Matt!!! Appreciate you and all that you've done for us. 10/10 would recommend!! read more

Due to a somewhat serious and complicated motorcycle accident, I went online to search for a personal injury attorney. Because it was clearly not my fault, my case was an easy win, therefore 99.99% of the attorneys I talked to only care about getting me to employ them asap. They would also pretend they know about motorcycles (I know they're pretending because the stuff they're saying is highly inaccurate, honestly I could care less if they don't know anything about bikes, all I wanted was my medical bills handled and getting compensated accurately, that's all), cut me off when I'm trying to explain the situation, and don't even pay attention to what I was saying so I have to continuously repeat myself. Fortunately I came across Demas Law Group and spoke with Attorney Tim Spangler, he was very attentive, didn't just blindly give me his legal opinion based on my answers to a couple questions like the other attorneys I talked to, and only provided sound legal advice after he has gone over the police report to understand the situation fully. Unfortunately, the scale of my case wasn't big enough for his law firm, but even though I wasn't going to be his client, he still gave me very educated legal advice, and answered any questions and concerns I have without sugar coating. He then recommended me to his former colleague Attorney Matt Young, and because I had such a pleasant experience with Attorney Tim Spangler, I trusted his recommendation and met with Attorney Matt Young. Attorney Matt Young is very educated and gave no bs as well, not only is he a personal injury attorney, but he's also a police officer, so double educated with the law and how things work! He was great during our consultation so I decided to hire him as my attorney! Not only did he explained how he planned to execute my case, throughout the process he also updates me in a timely manner! Originally my case was expected to take 1.5-2 years, however he was on top of his game and has everything handled within 6 months. But just because he was quick, that doesn't mean he skimmed through and half ass-ed the process. He was very attentive and make sure I was not taken advantage of by the at fault party, nor by any medical institution who had liens on my case. You also don't have to worry where is the money going, because he provides an itemized bill on where every cent went at the end of the case, which as someone who is super detail oriented, I very much appreciate the detail-ness and transparency! Hopefully I will never get into a serious enough accident again that requires me to hire a personal injury attorney, but if unfortunately I do, Attorney Matt Young will definitely be my first choice! read more

Personal injury go for Matt Young, a responsible, talented, understanding lawyer, no attitude is a plus! He helps you only the things he can which I like about him, I had a bad injury due to the car accident, even tho the car doesn't show much. Matt did really great work for helping us as much as he could! I hope I won't get any car accident again in the future, but if I do, I would definitely go back to Matt. Thank you! read more

Mr. Young is an excellent attorney. I hired him a few months ago as I was the plaintiff in a vehicle vs pedestrian matter. Thanks to his expertise and recommendations, we were able to solve this matter relatively quickly all while attaining an agreeable outcome. I was beyond impressed with Mr. Young's manner, professionalism, and knowledge. Less than 30 minutes after our telephonic consult (he offered Zoom too, but I chose phone), he went to the scene of the accident for a better understanding of what occurred. This was before I even hired him. I was so impressed I hired him and it was a great decision to do so. Highly recommend to anyone/everyone. read more

Matt Young is an amazing attorney! I have had 2 injury cases in that I needed representation. Matt was referred to me by a friend for my first case and because he did such an outstanding job for my first case, I hired him for the unfortunate second injury case. He is awesome to work with! He explained everything in detail. He is honest and upfront. No sugar coating! I felt like family and not just another client. Matt is timely in his efforts to respond whether it be via email, text, or phone call. And he is very respectful of your time. He makes it extremely convenient to work around your "life's schedule." I am so happy I was referred to Matt! Should I find myself in the unfortunate situation of needing an injury attorney, Matt Young will be the attorney I call. Highly recommended!! read more

My family and I were involved in a vehicle collision in 2020. This was a first for us, and we did not know what to do. Luckily Mr. Young came highly recommended from a friend. From day 1, Mr. Young provided immediate and personal service to myself and my family. He took the time to explain the process and arranged for a face to face meeting. We felt so at ease. We knew from the start we were in great hands. I can not say enough good things about Mr. Young. He connected us with the right medical professionals for our injuries, he was patient and always took the time to explain everything so that we fully understood the process. We did not worry one step of the way, we were always kept appraised of new developments and knew what was coming next. Mr. Young was responsive, knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. He truly cares about his clients, listens and gives sound advice. He deserves more than 5 starts. Absolutely excellent! read more
