I only give this company 1 star because the workers on site were very polite and it passed…read moreinspection. Chris's contract says "proximately 60 days to complete." The whole project took 180 days to complete. Other than that, Chris has been very difficult to work with. Since day one he claimed that he would be on site overlooking the job which made me feel confident in his contractor/leader abilities. That was false. Towards the middle/end of the project he would only show up to collect checks, not checking in on any of the work his workers were doing. Now that the project is finished, he could care less about the quality of work performed which is disturbing. Being a contractor myself, I would be on site or at least checking in on their work every other day since it would ultimately be my companies name on the project. I was frustrated with the false hope and brought it up to him one day. He responded with "stay out of my business." When my clients have an issue, I am there to fix it and go to worlds end until they are satisfied. In Chris case it's far from that. Now we are at job completion and we have these minor issues (in the photos) that we'd like addressed. All he cares about is collecting the final check and could care less about performing a final walk through. Once again, mind baffling... He also has tried to put some of the inspector's corrections on me. His workers dug out for a crawlspace access and left a large pile of dirt. The inspector asked to have that removed, and Chris "tried" to get away with having us do it. Multiple times has he tried to play us like we're stupid. A very bad strategy in my opinion. Now granted he is never on site to check the work so it's possible he didn't even realize his own guys put the dirt there. At this time I can not recommend this company.
