He was collaborative with us in a true partnership about how to position and market our property in a challenging market time. He listened to our input and combined it with his deep knowledge of the Long Beach market to arrive at an optimum selling strategy. He has a talented set of partners - photographers, escrow agents, lenders, and marketing professionals. His brokerage, Compass, has excellent resources and international reach which was important for a property such as ours. Our condo received lots of qualified interest from around the country and the world. We had already relocated outside of the LA area and, thus, needed a lot of extra help and attention, which Alan generously and professionally supplied. Once we had an offer, Alan's real value emerged in how he managed the escrow period and kept the sale alive through several unique challenges presented by our buyer and her lender. In the end, the sale successfully closed with a happy seller and a happy buyer. Although Alan didn't represent the buyer, even the buyer felt that Alan was the key to a successful outcome - that's how professional and extremely competent Alan is as a real estate professional. We have bought and sold numerous properties around the country in our lifetime - Alan Silva was the most talented and effective real estate agent we have ever worked with on the sell-side or the buy-side. His slogan "Experience the Silva Strategy" is something he takes pride in. I can attest it is a unique way of him being able to bring who he is and the services he can offer to another level. From the moment he met with me, his focus was on ME! He listened to what was important to ME. He assertively ascertained on how him and his team could service ME. His communication skills, details in explaining the entire process from beginning to end (emphasis on the offer, escrow paperwork, requisite forms, response times, e-signing, etc...) has been a pleasant and beyond satisfactory experience. But it doesn't stop there. What I experienced to be a wonderful testament that I MUST share is that EVERYONE that has been a part of Alan's team (Hector Saavedra with the loan support, Crystal Vianna & Leslie Campos on the operations side, Eric Reece with the inspection efforts, Alan Cantu on the electrical services and the list goes on) shared the same level of care and dedication.
