I'm too young to have seen Frank Sinatra live, but if there was a Vegas show that captures his music and performance, I'd imagine it be Matt Goss. If it weren't for the blue billboards all around town, I would've never heard of MG so I had no idea what to expect. By the end of the night I said this show is perfect for couples having classy intimate night. The venue is the 1OAK nightclub and stepping inside you'll find the dancefloor made up of chairs and side tables for drink menus. I didn't partake in the cocktails, but the custom drinks ranged from the Matt Goss Martini, Tuxedo, and a few others, all of which are $18. But if you're lucky and MG engages you in the show, he may communicate to the bar to send tequila your way. And he does get the audience involved so prep your clapping hands and snapping fingers. We were seated in the dancefloor chairs so we were like, RIGHT in front of the stage and it'd be tough not to participate. Not a problem because it was genuinely fun. He played classic Sinatra, covers of Alicia Keys, Kanye West, and The Eagles, and he even had an original song for the city of Las Vegas. All in all a good fun show.

The LED lights in our face the whole time. Not sure what they backlit considering we only saw them from the side.

Matt Goss has always been a great entertainer. Writing a review about his talent would be an insult since hes so well known and played in Vegas for so long. The only thing one can really review is the venue and the price of the drinks. With that in mind the drink menu has all drinks priced at $18 and a virgin cocktail is $10. I'm sure well drinks are a bit less but be prepared to pay a pretty penny to compensate the busty servers. While 1OAK is great for audio and lighting the layout for this show is not the best. The room is wide and narrow. If youre sitting anywhere but the booths in the middle of the room or the tables in the middle youre either uncomfortably close or on the side with led lights in your face. We actually got sat on the side which would be great in an arena it doesn't do his act any favors. It'd be better if they put cocktail chairs at the bar since theyd be the best seats in the house. Would I go back? Sure. It's a great start to anyones night. Just prefer to see him in a better venue perhaps the Sayers Club at SLS or at Rose Rabbit Lie. Plenty of intimate venues around town.

Still one of the best shows in Vegas the room at 1 oak is great and there are no bad seats. The new Sinatra of Vegas and really someone who saw Sinatra several time Matt really put on a more intimate show. Always go a few night when we are in town.

Matt Goss says, "Welcome to my home. Please have a seat in my living room and allow me to entertain you. However, feel free to join in on the fun." Experiencing this show is like hanging out with an ole friend. Intimate, warm and welcoming, Matt, his band, his dancing girls, the bartenders & servers all treat you as though you're in their home. And it all starts with Joe the Usher. Matt entertains you with Sinatra, Buble, and rocks out to his version of Hotel California. One thing is for sure, him and his gorgeous show girls will bring it home with their Vegas flair and blindingly beautiful smiles. Ange, Ivenise and the other two showgirls spice up Matt's living room cranking up the heat as they dance all around the bar in the most sparkly and feathery Vegas-ware. If your looking for a fun party with a fantastic band, a warm host, servers like royalty and sizzling Vegas showgirls that will truly make you smile, check out Matt Goss and his entourage at The Mirage. It's one HELAVA party!!!

Of course you can come for lunch but at night the vibe just feels better & bring the fam if you with them in Vegas, their menu is for everyone. To my surprised the kids loved it here, they said best sliders they ever had & they loved the Mac & Cheese which comes with grill chicken on top, portions were good. Over all the burgers here are very good, I got the Messi Burger it was awesomeness in my mouth! Cholesterol might of gone up a bit after eating it but hey just take an extra fish oil pill that day I did.Wings we're ok, meaty yes, could be more saucy tho but they were good. Prices were pretty good too considering it's in Vegas. My kids & I wish they had a Hard Rock Cafe in San Diego because we really liked it but they don't :( So every time we come to Vegas we will be hitting up The Hard Rock Cafe for sure, so keep up the good work Hard Rock Cafe till we see you again when we Vegas bound.

We knew which seats we were reserving when making our reservation. The venue accommodated two women who wanted to sit in the middle of the 6 person couch, and intended to split our party. Imagine if our party of 4 sat in the middle and split their party of 2. Same difference. Management was apologetic but moved us to table 5. My issue is these are not the front row seats that we paid for and reserved & the venue was not first come first serve. The owner's wife refused to honor our reserved seats and made accommodations for the two women who sat in the middle of a 6 person couch. It would be one thing if our tickets didn't have a seat number.... We've been to this venue at least 6x before coming to Ikons of Rock for the first time. I couldn't even enjoy the show because the lack of hospitality really killed the vibe for me.

Wait staff was very friendly and helped with recommendations. Appetizers came out pretty quickly. We ordered the brisket nachos to start and IDK if we were just all starving or what.. but those nachos really hit the spot! It was a table favorite for sure. It was also a big portion. Mains took a while. Hubby and I split a rack of ribs and and an order of wings. Wings were okay. For the price, I thought it would've came with some carrots/celery.. but it did not. The ribs were a legit rack though. It also came with a side of fries, slaw and pickles. Ribs were tasty. I also added a side of gumbo. The gumbo was meh. I don't think I will order that next time. Kids ordered mostly Mac n cheese with a side of fruit. One ordered the cheeseburger with a side of fries. Kids ate all of their fruit and just some of their Mac; the one with the cheeseburger finished all of her food. The kids meals did not come with drinks. Overall, we left full. Service was great. Music was good. Kids were a different story. Since we were a party of 5+, everyone was put on one bill and gratuity automatically added. They are also a non-cash establishment.. which is kind of weird since it's in a casino. But just a heads up. I would definitely come back if I or friends were staying here. I don't think I would go out of my way to come dine here specifically though.

But it was no warmer than 60 degrees on the main floor. Maybe colder. I get that it's 110 degrees outside but I'd rather be in that heat for three hours than freezing my freaking ass off. My friends agreed they were chilled to the bone. The cheap folding chairs (I mean... have you seen the ticket prices? REALLY??) added insult to injury.

The glorious Double Down Saloon. In the modern era of glitzy, flashy, and ultra processed Vegas,…read morethe DD will provide you with an absolute respite from all of that the moment you walk in the door. This is a glorious punk-oriented dive bar. That should be real clear from the distance you have to travel into a very undescript section of Vegas to get to it. On the outside, everything should already be screaming YES to you if you have a taste for great bars like these. For example, the first time I ever visited, on top of the marquee bill was Jello Biafra. Yeah it's like that. The music, the vibe, the crud - it's all on point. The cocktails are colorfully named and presented (I'm sure plenty of reviews will highlight the toilet shot) but I'd say they're kind of the weakest part of this joint. Just stick to straight booze, rejoice that you're not surrounded by as loud AF bachelorette party on a casino floor, and get hammered in the "Happiest Place on Earth'.

Fantastic grungy dive bar in Las Vegas!…read more I honestly can't believe it's taken us so long to check this venue out, especially since concerts are always free here. Our favorite punk band, The Mormons, happened to be playing here which is what drew us in. Loved the atmosphere with dollar bills and some R rated photo strips hanging around the bar area along with various stickers & graffiti filling the rest of the space. Truly feels like a quintessential Vegas dive bar. Bartenders weren't overly friendly, just there to do their job, but they served beers / cocktails quickly. We had a few PBR's which were $5 each. Fellow patrons were really friendly. I even made a friend during the show! For anyone with sensitive ears, the speakers are LOUD, so be sure to bring your ear protection. I loved the loud music, but my husband was suffering a bit. As per a usual dive bar, it is also smoky inside. If cigarette smoke bothers you, snag a spot near the entrance since they leave the door open for fresh air. This was everything I expected from a dive bar with a small stage for cool bands. We'll be back!

The venue offers a close-up experience with the artists that you just don't get at larger arenas. Security is solid, with both in‑house staff and Mandalay Bay personnel keeping the environment safe and comfortable. They do offer food, but if you're on a budget, I'd recommend grabbing something beforehand. If you purchase standing-room tickets, there's no need to rush in early, and as with most concerts, the artists rarely hit the stage exactly at the posted time. The venue itself is clean, the bar staff is friendly, and the overall atmosphere makes for a great night out. If an artist you enjoy is performing here, it's absolutely worth the visit. Being able to get close to the stage and feel the energy of the crowd makes the experience unforgettable.

He was friendly, funny and just really awesome at his job. With a group of 10, I think we probably had the entire menu, and everything we had was so YUMMY. Entrees: Voodoo Shrimp, Shrimp and Grits, Cajun Chicken Pasta with Shrimp added, NY Steak & Fries, Pulled Pork Sandwich, with add-ons of salad, and gumbo. We all thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and definitely left with full bellies. Dessert: Get the bread pudding. And don't share. It's THAT good. Looking forward to another HOB visit next time I'm staying at MB or W!

Immersive shows that require audience participation are tough even in Vegas (ex: Disco Show closed down, same premise.) If your time slot group is small, everyone is shy or somehow Southern Baptist and don't believe in dancing, the experience is going to be not as fun. The show starts out as a reggae dance hall with a DJ and a bar. The drinks are super expensive. Make it more affordable and I think people will loosen up. Subsequent rooms have a fairytale quality in retelling the story of Bob Marley. If you didn't see his biopic prior to coming to the show, I'd advise doing that so you have the gist of the timeline of his life. The show is heavily dependent on how much you're willing to dance to the music with whoever else is with you. If everyone stands around while the performers dance around you, it's going to feel like a long show. When I went, I had just arrived back from a cruise to Jamaica maybe 2-3 days earlier. Of course I came back with a terrible sunburn and physically couldn't dance because my skin hurt so bad. Lol of course. I felt bad because I try to be a good sport so the performers don't feel bad if everyone isn't participating, but all I could do is sway. If you don't like to participate in shows, are very shy, don't like reggae this show isn't for you. If you like to dance and you're interested in Bob Marley, I'd go to this. Visited: October 2025
