This is one of my favorite Würstelstands in Vienna. Another reason I like it is that the guy who is often working there (maybe he's the owner actually) is so friendly. And of course the biggest reason is that the quality of wursts and food offerings is very high. They also have a good selection. When any city has so many of one type of eatery, it's important to look for small differences in them to differentiate. Here for example they have Kümmelbraten which you almost never see at other stands. I had to eat a slice of Kümmelbraten with bread on my way home yesterday!

Yes Sausage stand with bonus gourmet sides (truffle fries and steak tartare) frequented by locals and tourists alike for the currywurst and more. Bosna (sausage, curry sauce, parsley, onions, on a toasted, pressed bread) was one of the culinary highlights of Vienna. Waited less than 5 minutes before snacking away right at the counter. Plenty of open-air seating nearby.

We tried three different sausages there, all of which were amazing, and we also tried a few variations of baklava that I hadn't had before. We also got a choice between beer and ginger beer, both of which delicious. Because this was just one of many stops, I couldn't say where exactly we were, but we did a lot of walking between stops. Assuming I could ever find my way back here, I certainly would, it was that good. That said, there are so many stands like this one, you could take quite a while to compare them all! If you happen to be in this part of town, however, this place is definitely a wiener (see what I did there?)!
