Our four-hour trip was the perfect mix of relaxation, wildlife, and adventure. Captain Jessica and her crew went above and beyond, providing iced drinks, snacks, and buckets for collecting shells. They took us to Old Hickory Island, where we found some amazing shells, a Pygmy octopus, conch, and a sand dollar. Throughout the trip, Captain Jessica shared her knowledge about the local ecosystem, answering all of our questions about the dolphins, manatees, mangroves, and the area. One of the highlights was when she spotted a pod of dolphins. She carefully brought the boat alongside them, and we got to watch them swim and jump in our boat's wake--it was unforgettable! Communication was outstanding from start to finish. We had to reschedule twice due to weather. Captain Jessica made the process incredibly easy and stress-free. She is friendly, welcoming, and shared lots of great local recommendations for places to visit and things to do. Like a lot of users have stated, there's a disconnect between supporting your rights and supporting nature, surroundings and people. Sure, everyone is entitled to an opinion, however, the Beatles aren't the only band who promote(d) peace and love, and I feel their discography doesn't completely jive with one portion of a governing body. Do painted coconuts know what our leaders do, unless we write something creative on them before we mail them? Are the palm trees fanning the ocean and bridges as the sun sets, or are they shading something wicked from eyesight? After seeing the giant Trump 2024 flag and a corner case full of other Republican memorabilia, I can't put myself on a political bus that looks like it is going down a one way street. I know there is more out in this world than following a one track mind, even though the sculptures and colors were pretty cool. If, by chance, there were positive paintings of Democrats or Liberals alongside the canvas of DJT, I'd totally be on board with this place. Meeting place was easy, as well as the guide was enthusiastic. The stories though were underwhelming, and were more "observations" of ghosts haunting their old places of work. There were also to many references to the the tour owner - GinaTaylor. I have never learned or remembered the personal name of an owner, but the owner's name was thrown out so many times as a reference to a story that it took away from the experience.

Our fantastic gondolier, Figaro, in his handsome straw canotier, or straw hat, was so amazing as he helped us into the gondola and gently brought us through the river. Before the end of our tour, Figaro sang to us with his stunning voice in Italian and made our evening the ultimate celebration.
