History

Established in 2015.

Mathnasium of Sioux Falls opened it's doors on Pi Day (3/14) 2015. Since then, we have helped students make math make sense and feel more confident in their math classes.

Meet the Business Owner: Matthew Manes M.

Matthew is the Owner and Center Director at Mathnasium of Sioux Falls. Matthew worked in marketing in Nashville, TN for several years before he decided he wanted to pursue more meaningful work as a teacher. He returned to school where he received a second degree in Mathematics and Education and then taught high school math. While pursuing his Mathematics degree, Matthew worked as an instructor at a local Mathnasium for two years where he saw firsthand how the Mathnasium method helps students of all ages grow in their confidence and understanding of math. This experience inspired him to leave the classroom setting to open a Mathnasium center in Sioux Falls where he would have a greater opportunity to help students of all ages. Matthew is enthusiastic about helping every child in the Sioux Falls community to truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. Matthew and his wife, Susan, own the center together along with their daughter, Rosanna.
