Good the instructors are nice but sometimes I don't think they understand what you really learning…read morebut when they do is very helpful and I learn a lot and magnesium 10 out of 10 I would recommend sending your kid here

You'll never use math, eh?…read more Years ago, A&W restaurants created a 1/3 pound burger to compete with the quarter pounder at McDonald's. No one bought it. They thought it was smaller... because three is less than four. And sure, that's funny. Until it isn't. Because many people manipulate us knowing so many people don't understand math. And, specifically, fractions. Back in the 90's, parents flipped out over Dungeons and Dragons when media reported 24 kids (unrelated cases) who played the game committed suicide or killed someone. That's the numerator (top number) of the fraction. What they omitted was the denominator: out of three million players in that age group. In the general population, at that time, about 360 kids out of 3 million committed suicide or killed someone. What the data *actually* showed was the D&D community appeared to have a protective quality. Politicians understand our math deficiency and use misleading data in exactly the same way. Also, sales people. And the media. My husband often says the lottery is a tax on poor people who are bad at math. The takeaway: Understanding basic math is power. Thus, when my daughter started falling behind in math, I enrolled her at Mathnasium. She loves going and her math scores improved 10% in the first month. This is a writer's eccentric way of writing a review of Mathnasium. p,s, The staff is incredible and supportive.

I Tutored for Ms. Canty off and on, and each time I worked for her she paid me my "due money"…read morewhenever she felt like it. And my last encounter with her, she ends up owing me 140$, and to this, which is 3 months later, she hasn't attempted to pay me my money. I was going to take her to small claims court but decided letting her clients/future clients, or anyone that renders her service and/or work with her know that she treats some employees like there below her and she cares nothing about you nor your money or time invested in doing work for her which shows poor leadership and definitely bad business..

I am so grateful that I happened to come across Kimberly Canty and KJS Tutoring Services when I had…read morereached a low point in my GRE preparation. Until I worked with Kimberly I had been using self-study prep services for a year and I had taken the GRE once, receiving a dismal quantitative score of 155. After working with Kimberly I received a quant score of 163. I am giving Kimberly five stars for the following reasons: - extremely reasonable rates ($40 per hour for GRE Math prep), plus she was able to provide me a new copy of the Official Guide to the Revised GRE free of charge - Sessions are held via Skype, which worked perfectly with my schedule, plus the sessions did not lose anything qualitatively; I was able to view her blackboard via the camera, plus we used online practice tests to run through timed drills together - Kimberly not only provides a foundation in the basics, but also reveals the subtle tricks and tips that help you identify and solve the more advanced problems more efficiently - She identifies your weak points and targets them during sessions and through homework assignments - She is incredibly encouraging and instills the confidence you need on test day (a critical point as my low confidence was definitely affecting my performance) Again, highly recommend her services!
