My friend went here years ago and I am amazed at how much it the population has grown. There are a lot of places to study, eat, or just hang out plus who can complain about $2 movies with free popcorn. Parking can be a little tough, so make sure are allowed to park where you plan to park and allow time to potentially have to walk a little. When I say a little I mean literally a little, this campus was designed to be easily walkable.

Our guide was a funny, very talkative young man who was very down to earth and kept us moving along. The campus is so pretty and very well-kept. There are many crepe myrtle trees and the landscaping was really lovely. Of course, my review is just based on our tour and not the actual quality of the school, however we have heard very good things about UNCP. We really liked the diversity and very inclusive feeling of the school. UNCP is definitely a contender in our school picks, very impressed with what we learned today about the school and saw in the tour, etc. About a two hour drive for us each way, not bad. Really liked the small town feel of the campus and loved the fact that it's the safest of the UNC campuses!

They have tried to cover up several race wars and school shootings. You are much better off going to Fayetteville state or another school in the area. It's not worth your college experience by any means. Administration does not care and will find excuses for employees. If you address any concerns then you will become a target. After 4 years I still have trouble getting certain things done because this school rather be petty than to just do their assigned job. I highly do not recommend especially if you are of African American descent and advise you to reconsider.

The financial department are a bunch of jerks, they're mean they will hang up on you want nothing to do with helping anybody... so disappointed I let her choose to go there.. My son loves this school. He has made many friends, is very active in outside student activities…read moreand is really enjoying his classes and professors. His counselor has helped him make sure he's on track to graduate on time. Tuition is out of state for us but it's about the same as what we would spend for in state with his Scholarships.
