We signed the receipt for it to be delivered and brought in but because the recliner was special order I guess we had to pay an additional delivery fee. All of this should've been discussed and explained. Terri the sales lady told us everything would be delivered and assembled. I had two people tell me, the ordered was put in as assembled delivery and was changed when they put my final payment for the recliner in. Go anywhere in okc but this place. On a side note, my son bought a living room set and bedroom set from here. They delivered his bed without bringing the proper tools and pieces to the bed. I purchased a mattress and base (frame) on 11/1/25. The base I wanted was not in stock. They said it would arrive 11/2/2025 but I was headed back home 2 hours away. I took the mattress home and set delivery from the Tulsa store 11/10/2025. I took a day off of work for this delivery. After receiving no calls to set up delivery time, I called the Tulsa location. They said I needed to call OKC store because they do not have my order. When I called the outlet store, they said it was "IN TRANSIT" to be delivered 12/14/2025 to the Tulsa store. I would NOT have taken home a mattress only to wait for over a month to get the frame. The salesperson and the manager both gave me false information to make the sale. First 2 mattresses show up with holes in them at the time of delivery and the manager refuses to give me anything. I found a bookcase (right size and color) and knew it was it. My wife an I were on a pretty tight budget with the purchase of our new home. We went to Mathis Brothers Outlet and was very surprised by the quality, high fashion and wonderful prices we found. Needless to say, none of this wouldn't have happened without the amazing customer support and great service we received in the store from Jalen and his crew!! Honestly, it was a blessing that we came back to Mathis Brothers after shopping around for 3 days. Service was extremely helpful, modeled the furniture, I took time to explain the breakdown of each piece and the different fabrics and colors. Will not go anywhere in the future. I highly recommend this store and the young man "Jalen" to help you when you walk in the door. His partner and the manager worked as a team to made it all come together for us and we cou Abe happier. After being a customer for 20 years I will never buy from this store again. My son bought his first house and got engaged very close together. As a gift I bought them a motion couch and table for their new place. The couch was delivered a month late and didn't work. They were unable to fix it even after 3 service calls. To compensate Mathis Brothers said they would take off 20%, but that never happened. Also, at the time of purchase they had a promotion of "interest free for 12 months". Before making the decision of opening a credit account I specifically asked the salesman about the terms of the promotion. He completely lied to my face!!! I called Mathis Brothers to ask about what the salesman told me and about the 20% off and got the run around. Customer service said that would be the sales manager, they couldn't authorize a discount. The sales manager told me customer service would have to do that. Also, the lying sales man didn't work there anymore so the manager said she couldn't verify what he said. Basically I overpaid for a couch that never worked plus incurred a balloon payment that I was lied to about. What a nightmare!! read more

I ventured here looking for sectionals and while I didn't find a sectional I did find a fabulous lamp that was originally retail value of $498 (who in their right mind would pay that) for $77!! There was absolutely nothing wrong with it and it is a solid heavy lamp. I just couldn't resist! They had a very great selection of decorative accents, artwork, lamps, mirrors, etc. I was more impressed by their home accessories offered rather than their actual furniture. They had a random selection nothing very consistent. If you liked one chair inside you couldn't find a second but that one chair was greatly reduced in price to make up for it. We bought a bedroom set a week ago. The bed frame was available the day of (1/23) the bedside tables were not and won't be here for a couple more weeks. That's all fine. I wanted to take the frame home and put it together myself. Was convinced by the salesman that the better deal was to sign up for the rewards program and get shipping and assembly on the bed and the bedside tables. Essentially, it pays itself; signing up for the rewards, we got the furniture for a cheaper price. The salesman said our bed would come today (1/30). He said he would call the day before for a time, etc. He then set up the delivery, gave us confirmation on our receipt and everything. We were pretty pleased with the process and told the salesman we appreciated him. Before we left he asked if we'd give him a 5 star review on google. We got no call yesterday and thought it was a bit odd. We woke up today and called and our order had no delivery date set up on anything. Really displeased. My family and I came in to purchase a mattress. While in the store for at least 20 minutes, no one helped us or offered to answer any of our questions. We saw a mattress that we really liked and even lay on it for 10 minutes while two staff members passed us and three other staff members sat around chit chatting. The backordered items finally came in months later after we repeatedly called with a damaged sofa, three missing cushions and a missing ottoman. As of December 9, 2021, still nothing from them. The only reason this place even got a star was because of my salesperson Marilyn. She was really friendly but that iS all they is decent at this place. I bought a whole bedroom set two weeks before the delivery date and I was told the delivery time the day before. I had to call and try to ask for a different delivery time and then they notified me that my bed was isn't even there. And when I asked why I got no reason just excuses about their dumb trucks. WTF..... It should have been here before!!!! What did they do? A measly waive of delivery fee and a lousy 5% ... If I didn't need this bed at this moment I would have gotten a full refund They literally made the beginning of my newlywed phase suck. I will now have to sleep in a Matthew with no bed frame for the first week of my married life. Then to add icing on this rotten cake...the rest of my merchandise did not come at my scheduled delivery time but earlier so the drivers could what? We just bought a mattress set from the Mathis Outlet in OKC. When we walked in Lou helped us with mattresses and was so knowledgeable about the ones we asked him about. He helped us decide on which one was best for our needs and helped us find the one that fit in our budget. He was very personable and we felt like we had known him for years and we trusted him. Thank you Lou for your great customer service! While my husband was paying, I talked Lynn Farris in the recliner section. She was so sweet to our 4 year old little girl. She is the sweetest and I am so glad I met her! We were so impressed with the sincere care that Maurice, Chris, and Mike took while wrapping our mattress set. It was a rainy day and they worked really hard getting it wrapped up so it didn't get wet. While they were busy doing this, they also carried on fun conversations with us. We went to Mathis Brothers Outlet yesterday looking for a new bed for my grandson. The first salesman took us to find a bed and showed us several examples and was very knowledgeable and friendly. After seeing several examples my grandson found the one he liked which had lights and was very nice. After he had found a bed he liked it was time to pick out a mattress. He tried several and found one he liked. Are sales people Taylor Preston, and Joseph Cox we're both very knowledgeable and professional. I had a terrible experience here with an older woman. I do not recall her name, but we went in to look for a sectional on Friday around 5-6 PM. We had already been searching for a few weeks now and were intent on purchasing. However, with her rude response, we left. Just purchased the exact sectional from the store for cheaper online! :) Shipping/assembly is all free and still cheaper than this store. I would suggest looking elsewhere. Incredibly disappointed. Ordered a sleeper sectional the second week of October and was told it would arrive in December. December rolls around and was told January, was told late February in January, and then March in February. We finally get it delivered last Friday (March 19th) with damage to the fabric on the chaise. Upon assembly, we discover that there was no mattress for the sleeper. We go to customer service the next day and was told it would be several weeks before a mattress would be available for us, so now we have a corner sectional in our living room, and we can't even sit on half of it because the mattress is missing. Yesterday we found a problem with the bed frame we bought when we bought the mattress. It is in our spare room and my husband noticed the problem when he dropped something that went under the bed. Our invoice says six legs and there are only 3. Our regular bed, that we bought somewhere else has 13 slats! Which means there is only 3 slats supporting the mattress and box spring. But wait, it gets worse! The three legs (they run down the center of the bed for support) don't even touch the ground! The 3 slats are sagging (hard to see in the pictures) The slats are also not bolted to the frame! You can see (in the picture) that the slat has a hole for that. If you look at the legs behind the front one, you can see that they are not touching the ground! My husband called and whomever he talked to said they would see what could be done. Never called back! My husband had to call again but they did not understand the problem. All we wanted was for someone to come out, install 3 more slats and put in 6 legs that touch the floor and are NOT screwed all the way out! (the more they are screwed out the more unstable they get). read more

Obviously not the case, now that they're saying it won't be in until December.
