Dr.Toms is no longer at this location. There are new owners and I would recommend staying as far away from this place as possible.
I had made an appointment for an annual physical immediately following my last physical. I called to confirm my appointment a month before the visit and was told that Dr. Toms was no longer the owner but my appointment was still on and that I'd just see another Beaumont affiliated Dr.
I went in this morning and the very rude receptionist started shaking her head and told me that she had no appointment for me. I explained to her that I had confirmed my appointment with the new owners. She then told me she just started so it was the last receptionist fault.
She said she would try to fit me in as a walk-in and then pointed to all the other folks waiting to be seen and told me it would be very a long wait.
I had taken the day off of work and fasted, so this was more than an inconvenience.
No apology or anything, just pure rudeness. I left and am seeking another primary care physician.
The staff is incompetent, rude, does not accept any responsibility. There are plenty of other Physicians in the area. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this office. read more
