A cute pintxos bar! We stopped by for a few pintxos as we were passing by. We tried a few different plates: the bacon wrapped bread, garlic soup, black pudding waffles with bean paste, and steak carpaccio were all excellent. The soup with bread wasn't too garlicky and their bread is delicious as well. The bacon wrapped breadstick was almost like a hollow breadstick with flavorful meat so you get a crispy texture. The asparagus was ok, nothing that stood out with its flavor profile. For dessert, the spicy chocolate nut crumbles were basically just spicy nuts, nothing special at all and honestly don't waste the calories on them. The Basque Dessert was almost like a creme brûlée and it was very good, but the bread on the bottom was a little soggy. The wine we got was good. Overall, one of the most consistent pintxos bars I have had so far in San Sebastian's! read more
