Matalan's not half bad you know. Good points - wide range of clothing and household goods at very very reasonable prices. if you've got kids then matalan is great because you can cloth the lil critters without hurting your purse. And for a shop like this it's fashion ranges aren't bad either. I find it great for frocks for going out and for work gear - suits are incredibly cheap. Homewares - they have good range of bathroom, bedroom and kitchen goods with some surprisingly trendy gear. You can always get parked as well which is a bonus Bad points - sometimes the queues are a bit long and occasionally it can look like a bomb has gone off, especially during sale time. but other than that it is well worth a visit read more

Staff are on shop floor every time I go in and not behind the tills ,I always have to line up with other customers tutting about lack of service and not only that ,it seems to me its BAD MANAGEMENT im so fed up with this store and wont be going back .Asda is not far from this store ,it have every thing that Matalan has and more ,they are polite not nosy like Matalan so its in and out with goods in no time .Do your self a favour and shop elsewhere ignore this store . read more
