She allowed him to cut a load of timber on the promise that he'd pay her. He came back and took 4 more loads. Now he won't answer her calls. He finally took our call (we're in California). He said he'd had a heart attack so we gave him 30 days to pay or we're going to small claims court. Now he won't take our calls. He's a rip-off artist. Mom is almost 80 and takes in foster children. She really needs the $2000 he owes her. We'll pursue this because she's certainly not the first old lady he's duped.
