As our first stop in Norway, this was a very cool bar in Lillehammer that served some interesting…read morelocal Norwegian food. The area surrounding the bar is actually very beautiful and a nice place to take a stroll and the bar itself is cozy and well suited to seat parties of multiple sizes. Food-wise the prices were pretty decent (from an American perspective). I ended up trying the moose burger and it was well worth a try. The actual meat is slightly gamey--not as satisfying as a beef patty, but the mix of the cranberry jam (or some sort of berry jam?) they put on the burger actually mixed very well with the overall dish. Overall a satisfying experience.
