I was told they would be in by the end if the week. This mind you after I was already told all but one cabinet (an upper which doesn't hold things up) was available. The end of the week came I had to call them for an update only to find out the cabinets were not there right color and would have to be refinished. Now it'll be another week to 10 days before I can finish my clients kitchen. A kitchen that normally takes only a week to demo and complete. My clients are not happy with their service as they are without a useful kitchen. Insult to injury there has been no apology, amends or remorse. It just good business to push to provide the product you promise making it priority especially when you mess up.

The cabinets we ended up with are extra custom. We wanted a more modern kitchen than I expect is very common in Nashville (several cabinetry companies our contractor typically works with could only give us Shaker cabinets, which isn't what we wanted), but Builder Supply Source had flat panel cabinets, which is the modern look we wanted. When they didn't have the exact stain color we wanted, they worked with us to create some samples based on some Pinterest/Houzz pictures I sent over. A few days after I sent the photos over, we had four samples at our house. We really liked three of them, narrowed it down to two, and finally picked one. I really appreciated that they were willing to work with us to get the color just right! We had a few little issues (one small panel of wood came slightly scratched up), but Builder Supply Source took care of everything. We worked with Will, who was great from our first meeting with him (we were in his office for about an hour talking about options and coming up with the best cabinet layout). And - at the end of the project - we're just in love with our cabinets (as well as with the hardware we ordered through Builder Supply Source). Nope, none of that nonsense. All I have to do is choose what I want straight from the IKEA catalog and if I have any questions or need input, the staff here is happy to indulge me with their expertise and design skills. The showroom here is helpful as it features a nice edited version of lighting, storage, furniture, accessories, appliances, and more! The mister surprised me by purchasing a couple of fantastic overhead lights for my space ($39 each) and even though it was weeks later before I was able to schedule an electrician in who noticed that one of the lights was slightly damaged, ModerNash still swapped out the light for me. No. Problem. My understanding is that that they trek down to IKEA on Wednesdays so you must place your order by Saturday evening to ensure that your order make the cut-off for that week. You then are able to pick up your goods on Friday. The owner was super helpful and friendly along with any of the staff that we have come across.
