We had our wedding in Las Vegas so there were a number of different locations to shoot and he came with a great plan and sense of where to photograph us, and the results were exceptionally captured. Some ideas were challenging, but he delivered! Probably what we were most pleased about is how well he got along with everyone, and how well everyone responded to him. He truly felt like a guest that everyone knew or wanted to get to know. We've been to many weddings, and many photographers are excellent flies on the wall, but don't necessarily connect with the people they're photographing. In Nathaniel's case, he was able to be that fly on the wall, but was also genuinely engaged with our guests. Everyone felt comfortable around him, and didn't have to feel like there was a camera taking their picture. Took over a month to see my wedding picture and for them to download all pic to a website to view (there was a lot of good moment pic that was not clear to see, that was very disappointed.). We got married in July we didn't get our album until December. Every time we send email to him about question after the wedding it were take 1 to 3 week to respond back. I didn't like how he also did our album picture but didn't let us see what picture he had pick or a draft before he had made it. So now I have to pay to get other one done.

In addition to that, once my wife Elizabeth and I started dating he made a point to do a little mini photo session with us every time we encountered him at an event. At one of these shows he captured what quickly became our favorite photo of the two of us together. We were both very dressed up and he wanted to make the most of the opportunity. He coached us quite a bit on where to stand, how to interact with each other, how to tilt our heads, and how high to raise our chins. His instructions ended up being perfect and we captured a great shot. So when the time came to select a photographer for our April 7, 2018 wedding the choice was obvious We could not even imagine going with anyone other than the man who had taken our favorite photo. Our wedding was to be at The Don Room in the El Cortez in downtown San Diego. But before that day we first had to choose a location for our engagement photo shoot. My wife is a PICU nurse, and I am a musician and guitar teacher. In addition to belly dance music, I play everything from blues, to classical, and heavy-metal. Liz and I both love going to concerts, eating exotic food, and touring palaces, castles, and town squares in Europe. Knowing that we wanted our engagement photos to be mystical, and in a natural setting, he suggested we do our shoot at Lake Cuyamaca. After he scouted the location and showed us several photos we enthusiastically agreed that it was a great idea. All of expertise he had so effortlessly displayed before was in abundance for the several hours we spent at the lake. We took photos in the forest, on bridges, near the lake, and in a stone labyrinth. In addition to taking many photos where he captured the sunlight filtering through the trees, we also did some photos after nightfall using various lights he had. He even shot several minutes of video footage of us using his drone camera. He then edited the photos and footage together into avideo montage. The results were stunning. We were very happy with the results and eager to display them on our wedding website. The response we got from all of our family and friends was great. Everyone thought he had really captured our "essence". On the day of the wedding Xavier and his team were a whirlwind of activity. In addition to capturing all the normal events like getting dressed, walking to the ceremony, the vows, the kiss, our grand entrance, our first dance, the toasts, the cake cutting, the bouquet toss and the garter toss... Xavier and his team also somehow managed to capture a bagpiper, a wizard, a contortionist and sword swallower, a circus aerialist, and five belly dancers! Covering our wedding must have felt like running a marathon. But Xavier and his team were going full steam all day and night. When we saw all the photos we were completely overwhelmed once again. Hundreds of photos of everything from our private moments to our many enthusiastic and emotional wedding guests. The collection is a wonderful photo essay that seems to tell the entire story of our special day. Going through the photos one by one makes us feel like the day has been frozen in time and we are able to stroll through the event and witness hundreds of little moments that we otherwise would never see. kathy was our wedding photographer (march 06). finding a photographer was probably the hardest…read morething about our wedding (besides hashing out the family politics with the guest list!). there are so many styles, debates about digital vs. film, etc, i felt like i needed to take a class to figure out what everyone was talking about! out of sheer ignorance, our criteria came down to finding someone with nice, colorful outdoor pictures of regular people who were smiling (shocking how hard that is to find!). we clicked our way through a gazillion websites and set up meetings with the 5 people whose sites we liked best. it turned out that the other thing we needed to consider was chemistry. i am not big on getting my picture taken, and the thought of hiring someone to stare at me actually freaked me out. we had a few meetings with photographers, each was ok. and then we met kathy! she is an outdoorsy animal lover who has a great eye for lighting and who made me feel comfortable right away. she and her assistant were very good at getting the posed pictures we asked for, some beautiful artsy-type pictures, and generally just captured the emotions so well... our pictures came back quickly, our book was also done beautifully and fast. when there was mistake in one of the orders from the printer, it was fixed quickly and with no problems. kathy was easy to talk to, easy to get in touch with and provides excellent service. my only two caveats, her packages were a bit limited and changing them costs a lot, and i didn't get any candid pictures of guests... i didn't specifically ask for them either, i had assumed that she would take a few. overall, kathy was fantastic and i highly recommend her!
