I hired contractor project manager John to install vivyl floors and baseboards through out the…read morehouse and 2 sliding doors. During the 2 week project I notice several loose planks throughout the floors and the pattern of setting the planks were not correct. per the instructions vinyl planks need to be set about 8 inches between the first row to create a pattern. Some of planks were broken at the the corners and left in place, planks were cut too short and did not go underneath the baseboards. Also some of the baseboards were installed upside down and not cut at a 45 degree angle at the corners. When I questioned John he said he would use caulking to fill in where planks were not covered by baseboards. He said my floors were not leveled that's why planks were not locking properly. John hired a couple of inexperienced workers to stall the floors and left them on the job unsupervised. Bottom line they did a terrible job installing the floors all wrong very unprofessional poor quality of skills and service. Also the sliding doors were also installed incorrectly. I ended up firing them and loosing $2500. I had to hire someone else to re-do all the floors again. Beware of JB construction and any handyman who requires payment upfront.
