I am disappointed in the quality of the work I had done by William Upholstery in Plainfield NJ…read more Admittedly it was better than what I had for a ripped bench seat on my truck. The sewing was unprofessional with treads in the sitch and excess material stretches on open areas of the seat. The carpet they put in had folds and was not stretch properly in place. The sun visors covers were acceptable yet I need to open them up and adjust one visors tension so it does not flop around. I am going to have to borrow, rent or buy a steamer and stretch the carpet in place. The upholstery job will have to be redone and I need to fix the one sun visor. I had already replaced it because it tore in the same spot, and it happened again in this spot. When I told Williams this, they confirmed that it's a weakness in the design, and hammered the joint that was sticking up causing the tear, then put a special wear strip inside to prevent it from happening again. I was charged $1,500.00, compared to $4000.00. They also offered me shuttle service for free. What a pleasure it is to work with professionals that treat you like you should be. There aren't many businesses I can say that about. Don't hesitate if you're in need! They also do seat and motorcycle work
