I waited 2 weeks and heard nothing, so I decided to call. I called on four separate occasions, leaving voicemails each time, and have still heard nothing. It was a waste of both of our time. If the company could not do the project, I would have appreciated a simple phone call or email.

My mother-in-law had a large maple tree that was covered in ivy, dying, and had already dropped a…read morelimb in her backyard. We wanted to get the tree removed - after one quote for close to $3000, we called Vernon Akin at Myson's Tree. His quote for the same removal was $850, and within a week his crew was hard at work removing the troublesome tree. They chipped everything they could, hauled off the big logs as well as the final 10 foot tall post, and cleaned up the yard after they were done. They use a cherry picker and a hydraulic arm to remove everything, so there was no digging up the backyard with a Bobcat or heavy lifting - they even worked around phone and cable lines surrounding the tree. There are a few more trees we need removed, including one with an active beehive in it - once the bees are relocated, we'll be calling Vernon Akin again for those removals as well.
