I was excited because this meant I would be getting steady checks each week from the profits of the company. This never happened. They took my money, used it to pay off one of their bills from a wholesale tackle company, and didn't pay me a penny. Jamie and Greg refused to sign a contract but yet they agreed to make monthly payments to refund me my $10,000. This ALSO never happened. Now it is 2019 and I still haven't seen a penny of what they stole from me. So I think it's finally time that all my Facebook friends know how dishonest the owner of ASB Tackle truly is. He took advantage of an ignorant 19 year old and has done this to many others as well. And his (ex) wife, Jamie, isn't innocent... she was a part of this the entire time. Bottom line is, if you need tackle, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. Please share this to spread the word. I'm sick to my stomach about this every day. It seems as though I can't get my money back but at least I can spread the word of his dishonesty.

The prices are reasonable to begin with, and if you simply ask, Karen or Jim will always take care of you in some way. To be honest, the value is good enough that you almost feel bad asking for a discount in the first place. What really sets this place apart is how they treat people. One time I stopped in and realized I was short on cash. Jim didn't hesitate--he loaned me a pack of cut bait on trust alone. I came back and paid, of course, but that moment says everything about their character. That kind of old-school honesty and respect for customers is almost gone these days. I'm genuinely glad this shop is still in business, and I hope it stays that way for a long time. I was visiting my dad and saw the shop was only 10 minutes down the road brought my bow with me over Thanksgiving. I am glad I did. He noticed my site and whiskey biscuit needed to be set up correctly and fixed before I began asking questions. From there, he recommended a release, probably the cheapest one he had. He said it's one of the best releases you can get and better than the 100-dollar release he used due to sponsorship. He did a couple of other tweaks and gave me a ten-minute lesson in the back of the shop. I had a great group at 15 yards with his feedback. I'm not in the area, but my dad said he would be using him for any future needs, and anytime I'm in the area, I will swing by if I need anything. The owner did not try to upsell me on other and was honest. Excellent customer service, friendly, and highly knowledgeable.
