I love all Massimo dutti stores. They are my go to stores for clothing shopping when in Europe. Beautiful linen clothing. They have longer and shorter pants to accommodate people of all heights. read more

This is my kind of shop: girly, feminine, colorful, light- and not so much stuff you can't see. Got…read morea really cute maxi dress here and they had bright tops, pant outfits that seem to be all the rage of late, and bags and jewelry--oh and a few little soap type gift items. Cash only. Loved the little details like the flowers wrapped around the top of every hanger. And the tea bags- not sure what that's about. I mean, I get it's the name of the store, but is this also some sachet trick? Bring your Portuguese translator or just the cash to transact here.

They have a bunch of fun bags and nicely designed pieces of clothing in here. There is a dressing room to try stuff on and they do take credit cards- yay, because not everywhere does. This season, looks like deep plum colors are in fashion. Very feminine and affordable.
Staying in Alfama, we noticed a few of the CHIcoração stores. All of the items are well made on vintage looms. They have literally any color imaginable. If it's not in stock in store, they would have it online. All of their goods are reasonably priced given the quality and detail. Every time we went in staff were helpful in answering questions and processing VAT refund forms for duty free shopping. I'd highly recommend them for authentic textiles, and to support a local business in Lisboa.

A great selection of hats, furs, jackets, sweaters, coats, kimonos, bags, shoes and accessories. Plenty of vintage headbands, scarves and ties! Light snacks, cocktails, coffee and fun to be had at this great location in Lisbon, only a stones throw from the centre and within walking distance to other nearby vintage stores. Slightly more pricy than other vintage stores here in Lisbon, however, good quality vintage doesn't come cheap! Address: R. Assunção 22, 1100-044
So this is supposed to be a famous Lisbon vintage/thrift store; however, I am sad to say that I was…read moreunderwhelmed. I realize that every city has its own thrift/vintage culture and it's hard to find a market where you find that perfect combination of affordable + chic + a bargain. The difference between affordable and a bargain meaning that you're selling clothes at an affordable price (let's say a woman's sweater for 10 euros) and also at a comparative bargain considering the original value (so, not an H&M sweater for 10 euros). The selection here was more "vintage" (old) than thrift (inexpensive), and generally overpriced by my standards. The jewelry was housed across the street, and that selection was small. Encountered a much better vintage option further north in the city.
