She is very helpful if you are interested in traveling from Monopoli to another town (Castellana, alberobello etc) I had a single room on the top floor, comfortable and well priced. We opted for the "Privilege Room," that was really a sprawling and charming apartment, full of character. We enjoyed some time at the pool with a bottle of wine and some snacks. If you haven't yet heard of trulli, I suggest a google search ASAP because these humble abodes are anything but ordinary, it was a dream of mine to sleep in one and on my 30th birthday, my boyfriend surprised me with a trip here to sleep in a trullo for the weekend. There are quite a few options for staying in a trullo, even outside of Alberobello. I do recommend staying here because it is a nice town that has a sort of magical ambiance to it. The people with shops around the area were super nice and full of jokes which I can appreciate. Our trullo was owned by a nearby shop and was probably the most romantic little place I have ever set eyes upon. Everything was renovated and modern, including a very beautiful bathroom with locally-made towels. Everything about it was amazing, the tiny kitchen, the absolutely charming bedroom that looked out of a movie. There were two terraces, one outside and private, and one where we had breakfast brought to us every morning (think local foods like panzarotti, olives, croissants with creme, melon, watermelon, cheese, fruit, cappuccino - everything was incredible). The outside of the trullo was covered in flowers and near a big garden where they picked fresh fruit and left in our rooms, they also gave us bottles of water in the mini fridge which was a really nice touch. I honestly really didn't want to leave this place, it was one of the experiences I've had in Italy.

The front desk clerk was warm and friendly during check in even though it was 1 AM! The hotel was quiet, clean and just plain wonderful. The restaurant that serves the hotel had exquisite authentic Italian cuisine. I can't say it enough. The food was AMAZING. My husband and I split three courses every night and left uncomfortably full and too full to even try the dessert. This is a must try hotel and restaurant in Cisternino, Italy.
