Worsed Massage ever, I would not recommend this place to ANYONE!! Me and my girlfriend went in for a massage, we are actually both trained in swedish massage but wanted someone else to do it as we couldnt be bothered, boy i wish we were bothered, They have no routine to there massage, ie perfrom a routine on one half of my body and then miss out parts of the routine on the other side. They were incompetent as far as im concerned, and didnt use any traditional massage techniques. They didnt ask what areas i wanted concentrating on, they didnt ask if i had any injuries allergies or anything. Very unprofessional, didnt know what they were doing. Broadway Shopping Centre website mentioned this business took private health funds. Went in with my fiancé. We both had massages at the same time. Massage finished and was told that they couldn't take my Bupa membership. Same thing happened to my fiancé. The lady running the store pointed to an A4 piece of paper which apparently (and not very clearly) stated that I should have asked about whether I could use my private health cover for this visit before the massage. I often try to defend what people call the "little dodgy Chinese massage places in shopping centres". But this is exactly the kind of situation that puts "dodgy" in that sentence. Woke up with a cricked neck/back and on top of that, had a tight deadline for work. When I could barely move my head without excruciating pain I quickly popped by and went for the 30mins full back massage. So worth every last dollar I spent ($35). I had a massage this weekend at Massage Link @ Broadway, I had explicitly asked if they do remedial massage and the members of the staff said yes! Yes of course! I mentioned i was very sore after gym, and a bit stiff, and that I needed something to help ease my tense muscles and the pain. Well not only did their massage not ease the pain and tension, it increased it exponentially. These people have no idea how to do a massage, they apply the same amount of pressure in all points of your body, they often don't even massage the muscle but the bone?!?! This kind of "massage" is not only unpleasant but actually quite dangerous. Beware of places like this, if you don't want to end up damaging a nerve too. Never again!! read more
