I don't like chain or cooperation. But I wanted a give a try. Big mistake. After all it's a chain/cooperation. First the room is was freezing and I let the therapist know. Nothing happened. Saying something like, "ooh this size of the building is cold the other side is warmer ". The massage was "deep tissue " they use body lotions no oils. Like I said "deep tissue" No massage as fast as you can. I paid for 60 minutes massage, they gave me 50... either way thanks God ended earlier. Never comeback. I booked a maternity massage over the weekend to relax and hopefully get rid of some sciatic pains I was having and left the place hurting more than when I arrived. Firstly, I booked for a 90 minute massage and was called about an hour before my appointment to be let known that they couldn't accommodate the time slot, they only had a 60 min service available. When I arrived I filled out some forms where I was asked where my problem areas where and what pressure I'd like. The masseuse was so firm even though I asked for the lightest and it was painful for almost half the session. He didn't go any lighter regardless of the groans I was making. The whole experience was just horrible. Of all the maternity massages I've had, this one's by far the worst. I was anything but relaxed. read more

I recently received a 90 min massage at this location. Called a few days in advance to make an appointment. The lady on the phone asks if I'm a member, I tell her no but that I have been there before. She tells me "Since you have been here before you don't qualify for our first time pricing so your total is going to come out to $139.99." That was fine with me since I had a gift card that would cover the whole price. I came in and had a great massage, probably one of the best I've had. I go out to pay and they ask if I'd like to cut my total in half by signing up for a membership, I can't do that as I live no where near this location, so I tell her no. She then tells me my total is going to be $240. I let her know that that was NOT what I was told over the phone, that I was told $139.99. All she says is "We have down that you were made aware of our "nonmember pricing." I was absolutely never told my total would be $240 because I would have NEVER gone if that was the case. Never in my life would I pay almost $300 (including tip and tax) for any massage. It was really unfortunate that I had a really nice and relaxing massage only to have the whole experience ruined because I was given the wrong information about pricing. read more

I've been going on a regular basis for over a year. It's been a game changer. Nathan is the AMAZING!!

This location has an online booking system...that never works. It shows specific options that you choose from for times, but inevitably you get a call that the time it offered you was not actually available. They tell you to call and not use the online system (then why do you have an online system?) but when you call, they never pay any attention to the window you've asked for or time frame and give you a bunch of random options. So far, calling in and booking has also yielded two "oops we don't have that appointment available" so I'm not sure what the difference is. They call, email, text and contact you about six ways to confirm appointments they will likely be having to change. I've never had this issue with other locations. My two stars are for having had decent massages, and the fact that the staff tries to be friendly, even if they aren't able to accommodate. I suspect the system failure has nothing to do with the staff personally, but someone needs to do something about the issue. read more

Massage therapist Sharta is absolutely fantastic! I have been going to her for deep tissue massages for years. She recently moved to the Spring Creek location from the Washington Heights location. Sharta is so good that I now drive almost 30 minutes out of my way to Spring (I live near downtown) to continue seeing her now that she has changed locations. It's hard to find a good deep tissue massage therapist that can really get in there, find the knots causing discomfort and work them out. Sharta is amazing at it. If you're looking for a really good deep tissue massage therapist, make an appointment with Sharta. You won't regret it. You'll be hooked after your first appointment. read more

Sad to say but my massage was NOT at all what I expected. My massage started, hands on at 3:10 and I was standing in the front lobby checking out at 3:50. My massage was cut short. Not only was it not the 60 min I thought I was paying for, the receptionist informed me it was 50 min. "hands on". And if that is the case, I only received a 40 min. massage but paid for 60. And actually it was less than 40 min. B/C I had to get dress. So why advertise a 60 min massage when that's not all What you receive. The therapist seemed to rush thru the massage, not allowing me to actually relax. And the massage, Was more like someone applying lotion, rather than a true massage. Think twice and then you may want to rethink it one more time before giving your money to this place. On the bright side the place was clean and for that I give it 2 stars. read more

Meet with Nathan who did a deep tissue massage on my entire back along with some stretches to help loosen my hips. Highly recommend. This place has unethical business practice that include last second up-charging when the credit card is about to be swiped and the old bait and switch, in which that have that nice little specials handout at the front with prices that don't reflect what you really pay. I usually come once a year to get a stocking stuffer gift card for my wife. I know this place is really expensive (it really should have $$$), but this last second up-charging thing is ridiculous!! I just wanted a simple 1 hour hot stone massage for my wife. The first price quoted was $69, then after some computer clicking it went up to $119, THEN just before the credit card swipe, it magically ballooned up to $149. $149 for a measly 1 hour hot stone massage!!! I swear, the Better Business Bureau needs to be contacted on these people!!! read more

Completely unprofessional. I had massages booked for my daughter and I, a fun girls day for her first weekend home from college. We arrived and checked in, my daughter was immediately called back. After over 20 minutes of waiting seeing the front desk associate go back in forth in a frenzy, finally an associate told me I could have a male massage therapist but the original therapist I booked wasn't available. I've had this male therapist before and felt he was incredibly inappropriate so I politely declined. She then offered a 30 min massage since I didn't want a male therapist and my appointment wasn't booked as female preferred. I specifically asked the therapists names when I called in to book so I didn't see the need for female preferred. At this point we're 40 minutes into my 60 minute appointment with no apology, no supervisor or manager and nothing offered for my inconvenience. I've been in the service industry for over 20 years and audacity for them to try to make a member of over 2 years feel like their scheduling mistake was somehow my fault. I've cancelled my membership and I'll be happy to drive the extra miles to the Woodhouse Spa in The Woodlands which goes above and beyond every time. read more

My boyfriend and I have been here several times this year for the couples massage. I require prenatal massage care, due to being pregnant, and even though we started coming here before I was very far along in, the massages have always been fantastic. We usually get Sandra and Brian and they are both excellent massage therapists. We always leave our massages with them feeling absolutely amazing! The only thing I'm bummed about is not being allowed to get aromatherapy or hot stones while pregnant, but I understand the concern. The place is very nice and clean, receptionists and massage therapists are always really wonderful, and I always leave here feeling amazing and refreshed. Just completed my second massage with cupping with Zlata....what an incredible massage!! She is beyond thorough, has the hands of an angel, and was incredibly attentive to me (confirming pressure, comfortability, etc.). I had some crazy tension in my back, and shoulders (thank you so much, Corporate America!), and she was able to resolve every single issue that I had. The cupping portion of the massage is definitely one of my favorites -- it's a unique feeling, in all the good ways! I didn't leave with a bunch of bruises on my back -- which is incredible, considering one of my girlfriends that had cupping somewhere else came out looking like she was shot with a bunch of purple paintballs. Make it a point to go to Zlata -- make sure you ask for cupping. It's a little up-charge, but worth every single penny! Promise, you won't be disappointed. read more

I will give this place a 5 star. We had a very relaxing and good experience here. Message Envy gave me a very bad taste in my mouth, every time I think about them. We were not pressured into signing up with a contract. That's a relief after coming off a long road trip and just wanted a message. We did not sign up for members but definitely will be back. We will be back to pay the non membership for a message because they are near by and professional about their work. The employees were the best, cordial and welcoming. Charla and Lauren were awesome and the receptionist up front. We came in early at least 15 minutes (which they recommended) to fill out paperwork. I read a lot of reviews regarding time...if you come in early to fill out paperwork then that should not be your issue. Also do not feel compelled to sign a contract if it's not in your budget. My boyfriend treated us to an hour long couples' massage with two add-ons: margarita foot scrub and hot rocks. Before beginning our massage, we each filled out a form asking for specific areas on our body we would like our masseuse to focus on. We were under the impression that the forms would help our masseuse help us; however, my boyfriend received a routine full body massage, without any emphasis on the areas he requested, our massage was cut short for a fact, because I took a picture of the time before beginning the massage and then the massage was over before an hour from when the photo was taken, lastly we didn't receive the masseuses we were scheduled for. It's upsetting to go in there and be let down when paying for what is supposed to be quality and even worse is having your time cut short- it makes me feel like they take me for someone they can simply blow over. Truthfully I've been to much smaller massage businesses, who charge half of what they charge and received better quality AND a full 60 minutes. I can happily say the woman up at the front was very sweet and their lemon grass oil smells fantastic. Not too mention my boyfriend is more stressed out now than he was before we went! read more
