I always feel great after going for a massage here. I love that I can use my HSA fund. It's an easy way to treat and take care of myself. I'm a mother of 5 and rarely take time for myself. I got the membership, so that way I make myself go. I also love that I can tell them the areas that are giving me grief, so they can do some targeted massage, while also getting a whole-body massage. I did have a massage schedule with a masseuse who had car issues and I did have to reschedule, but they were very gracious with that occurrence. read more

Booked a couples massage 2 weeks in advance for a girl's day (for my wife and a friend). Get called the day of and asked if a male masseur was okay. Said it was. That afternoon, at the time of the appointment, was informed that one was cancelled. Well so much for a girl's day. Babysitter already paid for, dinner reservations screwed... they offered to have the other massage a couple days later. Well, kinda defeats the purpose, doesn't it? Had given my card for the massages and afterwards, got charged for a total of SEVERAL massages (for hundreds over the initial amount - see attached photo). (Keep in mind, zero consideration was given for screwing our original plans.) Tried calling eight separate days (at various times of the day) and Christina was always "in a meeting," "just stepped out," or some other excuse. Every time, they stated they would take down my information and call back. (Never happened.) Avoid all locations like the plague. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION! I have been trying to cancel my membership for 6 months since moving out of state. Every month I get charged the membership fee, call the store ( manage is never there and never returns calls) send them an email ( never get a response) and dispute the charges with my credit card company. The following month I get charged again and the cycle continues. I have even filed a complaint with the BBB and they IGNORED it! The massages are fine , but the business practices are atrocious. read more

I just had my first massage at Massage Heights. The experience was amazing! I had a sunburn, so I was pretty nervous about how it would go. My masseuse applied the perfect amount of pressure so it wouldn't hurt, and still got the big knots out. I will definitely go back, and will become a member. read more

I made an appointment as a first time customer, but when I arrived was told they were understaffed and would not be able to accommodate me. They said they knew about the issue in the morning and the manager was supposed to call me, but that never happened. When I told them that I was frustrated since I had rearranged my work schedule to accommodate this appointment I got an "oh sorry, when would you like to reschedule?" Of course things happen and that's understandable. In this case they knew about the issue several hours earlier and rather than contact me chose to wait until I showed to tell me they couldn't complete it as booked. Even at that point there was zero effort on their part to attempt to do anything at all to make it right. There was no offer to have a manager contact me, and given that they'd already told me the manager was part of the problem I didn't bother to ask. There are a lot of other good options in the DSM area. Based on my experience I would encourage you to take your business to one of them. read more

Management is great! I had an appointment get canceled due to extenuating circumstances and Christina was able to get me an appointment same day! I had a massage with Yihan, OH MY GOODNESS, It was AMAZING!!! I honestly felt like a new person walking out! I am a nurse and have a lot of stress and body aches from work. Yihan worked on my trouble areas I knew about and found a few more tight places, she also made sure I was relaxed! I 110% recommend Massage Heights and Yihan! read more

I had a good experience today from staff and excellent massage therapist. Staff apologized for issues day before and was very helpful.

I'm sad that I have to give this establishment such a low rating because my massages with Dane were top notch and totally 5 star worthy. However, I signed a contract with them and ended up getting pregnant 3 months before my massage contract was up. You're not allowed to get massages in your first trimester and you have 30 days to use your prepaid massages - as per the contract. After sending multiple emails and playing phone tag in attempts to rectify the situation and ensure I wasn't out $150, I was assured that I could cancel my membership but they would keep my prepaid massages on file for as long as it took for me to use them up. My first and second trimester were hell - I was puking all the time and mostly just stayed in bed. Now in my third trimester I'm feeling good and looking forward to my massages. I called and was informed that since I am no longer a member, i no longer have use of those massages. Of course I don't have an email saying that they would keep the massages on the books for me (because although I wrote them multiple times and asked that all of our correspondence be kept in writing, they refused to email and continued to work with me only via the phone). And now there's a new manager who would have no knowledge of the situation. How delightfully convenient for them. Do not. I repeat DO NOT sign a contract with this place. This is only my experience but have many friends who had had trouble with them in the past. read more

My family and I recently relocated from the Atlanta area. Between the move, my new job and some other stuff, I was in bad need of a massage. I prefer to get a combination of services - deep tissue in my shoulders and upper back, then just general stress relief after that. I was so happy to see Massage Heights on my way to work, so I made an appointment. I didn't know any of the therapists' names yet, so I told the receptionist what services I needed and she booked me with Mindy. I have had many massages in my life but I am not exaggerating when I say that was the best massage I've ever had. I'm now already booked with her every other week through the end of the year - can't wait til next time! read more

I have used this location for the last 9 months and prior to that the Ames location. I booked my stacked up massages 2 weeks ago for myself and my husband (Veterans day gift). Today I planned my only day off around my massage and the therapist no-showed. Last week I had the worst massage of my life with a therapist that obviously didn't want to be there and didn't even try (used the hot stone "elevation" for 5 minutes of the 90, and I had to keep asking for adjustments to pressure). I hoped it was a fluke but apparently not. Yesterday my husband showed up for his massage and was locked out because of a staff blow out. I work crazy hours as a professional and have to plan far in advance. This is not the experience I pay for. We are both locked into a membership and of course can't get out. I will definitely not renew again and wonder what the hours on my account are going to be like because I'm not throwing them away. read more

After recently having a negative experience at this location and posting about it it on yelp, i got a call less then an hour later from the owner of this franchise and she was very apologetic. Without hesitation she booked me another appointment to make up for the bad experience. I cannot say enough how much of a difference it made that she personally called me. I went back today and got a massage with greylene and she is amazing. I will defiantly return here. read more

It was hard to review my massage as it was a decent massage (average, I've had much better, but I've also had a lot worse) BUT I couldn't enjoy it as I wanted as the massage therapist would not stop talking. 99% of people want to relax and not talk during a massage. She was not getting the hints when I just wouldn't respond or I would respond with one word answers. She was very sweet, but if there was more than 30 seconds of silence she would start talking again, either about herself or asking me questions. read more
