I asked Jennifer if she massaged as hard as Summer for the deep tissue and she seemed reluctant but she was so strong and a real trooper. She hit all of my sore spots that caused me to come in with precision. I think I fell asleep three times. The stretching at the end got my back popped a few times and my neck once though that was not on purpose. I am glad to have tried Jennifer and am looking forward to trying a different one next time. She informed me that she would do no more massage till my time was over. She told me that people like me should not come again because I could only tip ten dollars. She continued to shell at and verbally abuse me. I told her that I would rather leave. She yelled, " Good! Don't come again!" On my way out, another offered water. I decline, fearing for my life. HORRIBLE!!! Today…read moremarked an unfortunate and highly disappointing milestone in that I had the WORSE massage of my life at Massage Oasis at 75th & Douglas in Urbandale. There was no legitimate massage or oasis. My non-massage massage was literally a total and complete waste of my time and money. I had an appointment for a 90-minute deep-tissue massage with a masseuse named Anna. Anna, who speaks little to no English, greeted me when I walked in. I verified that she could do a deep-tissue massage, and I told her where I needed the most attention (via a translator app). She said she could and would do that. I got then was escorted to the room, where I disrobed and got on the table. She came in and started. I knew within the first 10 seconds that things would not go well. Instead of deep tissue, I got light touch (at best), I asked her to go harder, but she did not do so. I got cold but there was little heat. The massage literally did NOTHING for me except waste my time and money. On the way out, I gave her a $20 just because I am a nice guy. There was no "thank you" or "how was it" or anything else from her. She shorted me on time, but it did not matter since my so-called massage was just wasting my time. I did not want any extras, but those were not offered. My advice is to NEVER, EVER, EVER go to Massage Oasis.
