She has such a calm, soothing voice too. The 90 minutes went by way too fast and I found the massage over with all too soon. She paid attention to my breathing and used that to enhance my massage. She knew exactly what to say to put me at ease and help me relax. When I couldn't relax my arm (it was really tight due to an injury), and I was having trouble letting go and relaxing, Ashlee handled it perfectly. Ashlee gave a REALLY great and relaxing massage. It's one of the best of my life! She is really good at what she does, and I'll definitely be back!! On a side note, the soundtrack she played in the background was wonderful. When I go to hand them a $20 bill they said it wasn't enough for the service I got. They demanded $30 as a minimum. Tipping culture is absolute bs these days. Tips are discretionary based on the service you got not a set minimum amount. Will not be returning. Plenty of other strip mall massage places. Response to Andrew's comment: Sure did a 90 min massage! I walked in. Never looked at your website. Never asked for a deep tissue. Only question I was asked was how long. Would have been nice to be told about the required 30% tip up front before we began. Which still doesn't make sense... Based on the quality of massage I got and because tipping is a discretionary action, $20 which comes out to slightly under 20% was exactly what it deserved. In the service industry Andrew, any tip is a reward, not a punishment buddy... But again a mandatory tip goes against the entire idea. I bet this wouldn't be as big of an issue Andrew if you paid your employees a livable wage and you stopped punishing them by forcing mandatory tips.
