I was met as soon as I walked in and we went over the massage and whatever was ailing me. Checkout was quick and efficient with many ways to pay. Just a note- the room I was in you can hear traffic on 17 like when a loud truck goes by so that may impact your ambiance if that bothers you, they can just turn up the music in the room if it is an issue.

I have been going to Korean spas for over 10 years for this treatment. It normally leaves your skin supper soft. The scrub can be from 30-50 minutes and then a hydrating massage for 30 minutes to 45 after. This was my first time doing it at this spa. I called and they said that the scrub is 45 minutes and the massage is the same. For $20 more you can extend the massage for an addition 30 minutes. They also mentioned they have a sauna which is free. I asked for the 2 hour Urban Vacation. It is little over two hours before closing so they did not want to accommodate so I chose the 90 minute Eastern Indulgence (Korean Body Scrub). They asked from payment first, so I paid $130, then they took me to a room and gave me a towel. About 7 minutes later she comes back and took me to the wet room. No robe, no slippers which was odd. We entered the room and it was freezing. I told her it was cold; she ended the scrub after 10 minutes and put me in a cold sauna room. After about 4 minutes it got warm. In about 3 minutes we head to the massage room. The room was nice and warm, but the massage was terrible. I asked for a stronger massage, but it did not get stronger. It was not good. While in the room she complained that business is slow, and she comes from palisade park to work there. After 70-75 minutes in total, she said all done. I told her that she cut it short, she stated that I came in 90 minutes ago. She left and came back with water. She seemed nice and I gave her $50 tip on a $130 massage. She asked for more and told me that $50 is not enough for 90 minutes. I was shocked. I told her the scrub was shortened, the time was shortened as it included the time to pay, her to set up and the sauna. She got nasty and I left. In summary, the cozy Spa offers clean environment. However, the inconsistency in the service from the industry standards and their menu along with lack of gratitude was disappointing to say the least. I would suggest staying clear of this spa. This is not a good business to support.

Found this place through Groupon and decided to treat myself to a massage at this location. I was greeted with a nice smile from the receptionist as soon as I walked in and while the place is small, it had a nice cozy and relaxing environment. Amanda was my masseuse and she listened to my needs (relief of muscle aches from frequent workouts) and she went to work. She used the right amount of pressure to help relieve some muscle tension I had in my neck and back, and the aromatherapy and oils she used helped relieve some stress. After the hour, she also gave me some tips on how to relieve the tension myself at home which I really appreciated. Glad I decided to pick this place to experience my first massage and I'll definitely be back again and look into a hot stone massage for next time.

I had just run the NYC Marathon on Sunday so was hoping to get in on Tuesday. In fairness, I called on Tuesday morning and they couldn't get us in until Thursday night, but it was worth the wait, and I'm sure they were blowing up because of Groupon. The listed price for the couple's massage in the parlor was $140, but for $40/person, it was money well spent once the hour was up. The place is a little hidden, even within the office building. It's easiest to go up to the second floor from the door on your right (there are 2 entrances). Overall, they did such a good job, I tipped them $25 each, factoring in the actual cost and not the Groupon special.
