First off, my hotel, Le Meridien (Ramblas) provided free daily passes to my friend and me. I wanted to swim, and though the pool at Holmes wasn't a typical full-size pool, it was easily long enough as a lap pool. It felt like it was about 15 yards long, and had 3 standard sized lanes. It was heated just right too, and immaculate, with was completely encased in stainless steel (including the bottom). Amazing jacuzzi, sauna, and steam rooms (all coed, unlike at Equinox). The people at the club are all very clean and no meatheads. The staff is exceedingly nice, and the place, again, is immaculate. Everything from cotton swabs to towels are provided. Pool has kickboards, fins, and other stuff for swimmer types. They have classes, though we just watched them. Best part is that unlike Equinox, it's not overly crowded. I think it's 70 euros for monthly membership, but seemed expensive if you wanted to pay for day passes (I think about 20 euros). The club also has amazing food, and at a great price. Probably some of the best meals we had were at Holme's Place. Very healthy too. They serve you a 3-course meal (e.g. salad, entree, dessert) for 11 euros. You can sub a coffee for the dessert too. And the WiFi is free, so you can work out, then eat, and get some work done in a lovely dining room. Equinox could learn a thing or two from this place. I will miss it immensely. And of course, it helped that the girl at the front desk was very cute. One of the prettiest girls I've seen during my stay..

I'm a sucker for cold water and free! Lol locker room with plenty of lockers to use, multiple showers, and toilets, per sex. Lots of Barbells to use, I came in for open box hours, loved it soo much, I'm coming back for a group class to try it. I'm not a crossfit style guy. But the staff here were very welcoming I'm gonna give it a try.

Staff is friendly and professional most of them speak Spanish and some English so you can fight through some of the small details to get the workout done without any issues. $15 Euro drop in and of course I got a shirt but they open early and most things I found in Barcelona don't, so coming from Chicago, it was nice to get my workout in and be done by 8am. Plenty of time to get on with being a tourist. Easy enough to grab a cab back to my hotel there are plenty of them around. I just waked 2 block to a bigger street and it was much easier than fighting my way on public transportation.

Coincidently lined up…read morein our trip right after we landed and checked in the hotel, changed and walked over at the lovely Tennis Court, what a way to ease in your jet lagged & kept busy though we barely made it to the end of the game, thanks to my ice coffee It's definitely not Indian Wells, there were only 2 courts we saw, one for Semi Final Singles & the other for Doubles clay courts. Watching it from the TV and being there live is so surreal, imho. It wasn't cheap as we thought Alcaraz was gonna be in the Semi's & unfortunately he withdrew after we got our Tix so Tickets went down significantly. However, it was more an experience for us and make sure to wear a lot of Sunscreen, bring your big hat & sunglasses

Aire offers a 5 star spa experience in Barcelona and is open rather late for a spa. We arrived at…read more9:45pm for a 10pm service and were out the door close to 1am. We all opted for the orange massage which included a relaxing facial. The baths in the basement area were clean, and despite their rules banning affection, we still saw people making out and getting cozy in one of the pools. The 90 minute massage and facial service was a treat for less than €200, and they offer L'Occitane hair and body products in the shower. A nice added touch are their packaged, unused hairbrushes and basic toiletries to use after your service. Though we paid for a 90 minute visit, the massage and facial felt a bit shy of 1 hour. Nevertheless, we all had a relaxing time and were happy to be able to pamper ourselves while on vacation.

We made the reservations online via their website. We booked the first available appointment of the day because we figured it would be less busy compared to middle of the day. When we arrived, we got checked-in, they gave us non-slip, slip on booties, which is something I don't remember the first time I came in 2019, but very much appreciated, plus a robe. The locker rooms were clean and you are able to lock up all your stuff in your own locker. Once you are ready, they'll bring you down to the bath area, which has a variety of different pools, some hot, a salt pool, cold plunge, sauna and steam room. I'm not a huge fan of hot tubs, so honestly I spent probably the most time in the cold plunge, which honestly felt the best. While we were down there, they provided tea and orange juice, the tea was probably some of the best I've had, so tasty. And the orange juice was just as good. When it's your turn for your massage, they'll escort you to the top floor where we got our couples massage. The massage itself was good, but I didn't like how i could see into the walkway where everyone was walking by. I didn't feel that sense of privacy. Not a huge deal, and not a deal breaker though. I'd still definitely recommend coming here towards the end of your trip to feel rejuvenated and revitalized.
