When the Dr uses an activator there is none of the hands on twisting or manual popping. He feels the spot so he knows what to do and then he puts his little hand held clicker and it delivers a few well placed bumps to get my bones where they need to be. He is the only one I have found in South Dakota and I drive two hours to see him. He does not take insurance but his clinic is virtually no wait and he is very nice to talk to. He will treat everything you tell him hurts. He even adjusts my jaw and wrists. He charges $85 for initial visit but if you are recommended by someone it is only $45 so tell them I told you how great it is and get the discount! From there on it is $45 per visit. His office hours are a little odd but if I lived closer I imagine they would be convenient. He has 3 slots per appointment time and he has three tables in the open where you are worked on fully clothed. When I came to him it had been awhile since I had been to a chiropractor since I dislike manual manipulation so he had me come every time I was in town until he had me back to normal. Also, I had spoken to my doctor because they were planning on discharging me and the doctor said they did not want me discharged so I called to speak to my therapist. The person at the front desk. Sydney refused to get them for me refuse to give them a message when I said, I will try and reach them when I come in for therapy. They informed me that they would be busy with other not be able to help me at that time. I was able to finally leave a voicemail for my therapist and very disappointed in the fact that my call was never returned. In the beginning, things started out well with Prairie Rehab but they quickly went south and they've even worse and management could care less. It doesn't seem to strike them one bit. I guess they have plenty of that they're fine with losing a few but you start losing one and then it becomes two and then it becomes three and it compounds and compounds on itself. There hasn't been any change or problem areas since my last cleaning. When I refused hoping to get my regular cleaning my appointment was canceled. I set up another appointment to follow through and was open to paying for more filler, but the manager called to cancel around 10:30am the same day of my appointment at 3pm. I think the professional thing to do would be to meet and talk in person, not call at the last minute!
