So I just feel blessed that not only do I get the opportunity to be insured for therapy but that I found a therapist that has truly changed my life. When I first started to look for a therapist, I felt like there were no resources to help me find a good match. And I know finding a good one is like finding a good lawyer, it can make or break you. I have been seeing Mary for omg I think a year now?! And my God, has my life TRANSFORMED. The coping mechanisms, the way I look at my struggles, the way I communicate, my anxiety, I can't thank her enough. I know there are like doctor patients protocols but I always think about how I would literally invite her to my wedding and just always want to send her gifts to show her how grateful I am. I'm of course not perfect and still working on myself, but every time we meet up for a session now and I'm under stress, it doesn't affect me like it used to. She is SO validating but at the same time GIVES solutions!!!!! Like if I have a conflict in business or relationship, I share the conflict, and she not only teaches me how to cope and reframe it to better my emotions toward it - she will literally suggest an actionable solution. It's the best. I didn't know therapy also came with someone who's rooting for you to succeed in every aspect of life. It's so obvious how invested she is in her patients lives, and it's so obvious how focused and intentional she is in every session. Because it was so so hard for me to find a therapist for years, I hope this review helps others find her. I'm 25, live alone, in a relationship, and own a business. I struggle with major anxiety and at the beginning of our sessions with moderate depression. I can now proudly and happily say I am pretty average with anxiety now, don't have any depression, and working on loving myself more and learning how to re teach myself how to stand in my truth and not have my feelings and emotions so dictated by other people. I thank God for Mary, she has truly truly changed my life for the better. Not to mention, shes literally SO FUNNY. I literally always feel so light and fluffy after we speak, she can totally meet me where I'm at. She's so relatable and literally SO FUNNY I CANT STRESS ENOUGH her reactions to things we talk about truly make my day. She is seriously such a cool person. My best friend recommended me to Mary and every time her and we have a problem, we will text each other about the issue and we ALWAYS SAY "have you told Mary? She would know the answer" and on our therapy days we text each other "omg I see Mary today thank God" Seriously, I truly love her and just know my life wouldn't be what it is without her. You are truly changing my life Mary and I look in the mirror with so much love and gentleness toward myself now. I NEVER EVER thought that could be possible. Seriously. Words can't even describe my gratitude. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

Maybe while being put into a trance she has them hypnotized to write false claims of who she is. Maybe she needs to study more on the realm of ICD 10; F60.0 and Z20.828 cause when I went there she was the least welcoming and accepting. In fact, she was quite blaming of the fact that I might have had COVID. Even after telling her I had been tested and tested negative. She continued to look at me with a sense of guilt and blame. Not a way to start off a psychology session. The person you are to TRUST.& RELY on for your deepest thoughts and psyche. After being asked X5 to go virtual with an agreement on the first (with utmost understanding) she didn't need to reiterate on the fact that I had a bronchial infection. NOT COVID!! My other half even mentioned of an unwelcoming state saying, "I felt like I was unloading on a window pane". Meaning Dr Fujimoto needs to learn a bit of EMPATHY. In the beginning she mentions that she is straight forward in her sessions. Well, I hope that a. Psychologist would be as I would be paying top dollars in insurance benefits to seek the truth. I mean isn't that why one goes to psychology? To have their mind opened and enlightened to the truth/ the better path. However, what I feel that she really means is that she has NO TACT. At the end of it all I begged my wife for us to NOT continue with her services. We eventually found someone with true regards for our condition, someone with more TACT & EMPATHY.

With COVID having affected and changed so many lives in more ways than one since March 2020 (well…read moreover a year now as of this writing), psychologists and therapists have been in such high demand! I came across DalyBeth and Positive Health Hawaii after searching around for places that had openings and/or were accepting new patients, which as expected was super hard to come by and especially within a short time. Having been living alone and hardly able to see the closest friends for the last year now along with dealing with lots of tension within another organization that I'm working for on a part-time basis, I've been trying to seek help with my mental health and depression that has literally taken its toll on my life, I am very thankful for DalyBeth! She has been willing to listen to my situation and stories and has made plenty of helpful suggestions on helping myself relieve stress from my life. Now although I haven't gotten to some of them quite yet and admittedly may not be comfortable doing certain ones just yet, I've taken lots of notes and been trying to put her advice to great use. I'll definitely be consulting with DalyBeth periodically and again very soon, and hopefully I'll get to meet her in-person. Right now, lots of these psychologists and therapists are doing telehealth sessions or through online sources like ZOOM (not a fan of virtual events, quite frankly).

I just got out of the hospital and everything was in order. The caseworker had set me up with Aja…read more When I got out, I had an appointment and I saw her. In the first Zoom meeting, I kept telling her about what's going on with my family and how important it is and she said she can't help me regarding my child, but she can help me with just me. I kept telling her that something was going on with my child that made me feel a certain way so that I needed to talk about that. She kept saying that she cannot help my child and I understood that. Anyways, I told her that if she specializes in human trafficking and she's a Christian because that's the two things that I was shocked to see someone had a specialty in and that is what I needed help in. I believed this was set up and a blessing from above, from God himself because how easy is it to find Christian-based therapy with specific things you're going through? She just seemed very dismissive and she seemed like she didn't wanna see me and I just told her that I feel like this is a very important matter to me that I need to speak about it and then we eventually came to a mutual understanding about what I needed in therapy. In the second session, she said that I cannot see her anymore because I need to take medicine and I already have a therapist. I told her I don't have a therapist. Their office and the hospital just said that I have one, but that I don't. I'm not seeing one right now. I was seeing one from before but I am not seeing anyone but her. She said if I don't do the medicine (which the hospital didn't require) then they can't see me. I said fine I don't think we can do this then. So we mutually agreed to end services with one another. Then I decided to go to Linda. So I made an appointment with her. The day I got a phone call, I didn't respond because I was busy. They left me an email saying my appointment was canceled the day of and they sent me an email discharging me. I called the office and the girl said the manager said I am not a good fit so they will not be seeing me anymore. I asked to speak to the supervisor to get this right. She was listening to everything that I said I said I was gonna write a Yelp review. I said that I did the survey just so that they would have feedback to know what went on with me. To know that I wasn't satisfied, wasn't helped, didn't feel hurt, just got out of the hospital, I don't have a therapist now and now I have to look for one, and they just didn't help the way that I needed them to. They kicked me out two times. So I confirmed with the manager about her saying I am not a good fit and they won't be seeing me anymore. So I got an email that they discharged me and I just told them I don't trust them or feel comfortable doing any work with them or any services with them anymore. And it's there. I would not recommend anyone who just got out of the hospital who's kind of vulnerable and is trusting people to help them to just go here and expect them to actually help, as they treated me like easy throw away patient, with no compassion.

Public Review -- Wellness Partners Mental Health (Hawai'i)…read more (1 star) As a retired United States Navy Chief Petty Officer receiving treatment for a service-connected psychological injury, I cannot recommend Wellness Partners Mental Health (Hawai'i). While I encountered compassionate care at the clinical level, the experience was significantly compromised by administrative conduct that lacked professionalism, empathy, and trauma-informed awareness. Let me begin by acknowledging the one strength of this practice: my therapist, Aja Wallace, was respectful, grounded, and provided a calm and judgment-free environment. Although our sessions remained conversational and did not advance into deeper therapeutic modalities, her individual professionalism made a difference. She treated me with dignity and attentiveness. Her efforts are the sole reason this review includes even one star. However, my interaction with the administrative office was a very different experience. After missing two appointments--which were scheduled as part of my ongoing treatment for mental health conditions resulting directly from military service--I received a standardized, impersonal email from a staff member who identified themselves only as "Garnet." The email reminded me of the clinic's cancellation policy, stated that I could be charged a $50 no-show fee, and warned that I could be discharged from care entirely if a third appointment was missed. The wording was superficially polite, but the underlying message was bureaucratic and threatening. There was no inquiry into my health, no recognition of the nature of my condition, and no attempt to understand the reality that missing appointments is often a direct result of the very psychological conditions being treated. In short, the response failed to reflect even the most basic principles of trauma-informed, veteran-centered care. As someone who has been under psychiatric care since 1992, I am fully aware of scheduling policies and patient responsibilities. I do not take them lightly. However, I am not receiving elective or convenience-based services. I am seeking help for injuries incurred through my time in uniform--injuries tied to the long-term consequences of military service. When a clinic's administrative staff reduces that reality to a matter of metrics and policy enforcement, it signals a serious disconnect between clinical mission and operational execution. Moreover, it is unacceptable for any medical office holding sensitive personal and military-related health information to correspond with patients using only a first name, without professional title, credential, or accountability. Transparency is not optional in healthcare--especially when addressing veterans whose trust has been hard-earned and easily broken. This review is not written in anger but in disappointment. Disappointment that a facility offering mental health services does not distinguish between procedural enforcement and compassionate care. Disappointment that, despite all we now know about post-service mental health challenges, administrative practices still rely on cold, automated responses rather than personalized engagement. Disappointment that I, like many veterans, continue to experience institutional indifference in civilian care settings. Wellness Partners Mental Health must confront the contradiction of claiming to support veterans while using systems that penalize them for the symptoms of their injuries. No veteran should have to defend or explain their absence to administrative personnel. No trauma patient should be met with form-letter warnings instead of outreach rooted in care and concern. Until meaningful changes are made in how this organization communicates with and supports its patients--especially those receiving treatment for military-related psychological conditions--I cannot recommend them. I strongly urge any veteran considering this facility to carefully assess whether it truly understands the complex and often invisible wounds we carry. Respect is not found in fine print or fee reminders. It is found in how we are treated when we are struggling--and how we are supported when we reach out for help. Non Sibi Sed Patriae -- Not For Self, But For Country. David Leonard Vega Chief Petty Officer, United States Navy (Retired)

We were not seeking reimbursement from Dr. Mirin herself, rather from our insurance company. When we submitted a super bill to our insurance company, they said that Dr. Mirin was in fact in their network, her signed contracts still legally binding her to participate with the company's patients and honor copay fees as such. When the insurance company sent a letter to Dr. Mirin notifying her that she was still participating with them and legal proof of such, she reached out to me, the patient, stating that she has no affiliation with this insurance company; she sighted that she did not want to be participating with insurance because they payed her lower than her desired amount/rate per session. Dr. Mirin went on to say that in order for me to remain her patient, by absolutely no means was I allowed to submit more super bills with her listed as my mental health provider. Dr. Mirin accused my family of trying to go after her for money, when the initial reason we even got insurance involved, as aforementioned, was to be reimbursed by them, not the provider herself. Dr. Mirin was caught red handed for insurance fraud- not honoring her legally binding contract because she wanted to be payed the full amount for sessions rather than a lesser copay with my insurance coverage. I still receive letters to this day from my insurance company stating that she has not even acknowledged their attempts to contact her, much less stop participating with them. Also, to be very clear, Dr. Spira, her colleague, is also her husband, and the "endorsement" by Dr. Spira attesting to Dr. Mirin's professionalism is a conflict of interest. I would highly recommend to find another provider rather than these two.
