Good pub food and a popular spot for locals to eat. The bar had a refit after the 2022 floods and is now pretty modern. The service is good, but when it's busy the food can take some time to arrive. It's best to arrive early. I've found the staff to be friendly and prices to be about average for a pub in the area. read more

This pub was pretty cool. In fact it was probably one of the better pubs in Lismore. In fact I'd be tempted to say the best, if it wasn't for the fact that they didn't have any craft beers on tap. Still, this place was pretty cool, though I found the staff to be a little sharp at times. However, they do have a pretty nice area out the back, though the ashtrays on the tables do indicate that it is mainly for the smokers. Still, I did quite like this place, and it was open Sundays as well. read more

Well, the railway station still exists, and so does the pub. Mind you, as a pub this place really wasn't all that great, though it was nice enough to have a beer at. However, considering that it is technically a suburban pub, or a suburban pub as far as Lismore is concerned, the tap beer selection is rather limited. Further, it really isn't all that close to the town centre either.

On the…read morenegative: my (sober) mother got kicked out for laughing too loud, accused of being 'too drunk' - this is just the latest in a stream of complaints I've heard from people around me (all of them female) who got tossed out on the streets for made-up 'drunk behaviour'. Go for the food if you're eager, but don't expect to have fun.
