There's plenty of room to dance (unlike Zumba classes at gyms that pack in more than they can accommodate). I took off one star just for the volume - wish the music could be toned down a tad, though it's no louder than any other class in the country. This is by far the most cost effective and friendly dance studio in town.

All what I can tell you is that our daughter was ready to give up because she was not motivated/did not enjoy piano or music. She started with Rok a year ago and she is LOVING piano, studies EVERY single day and I have seen progress that I had not seen in any of the other years since we started 5 years ago. This is to Rok's credit. He is patient, disciplined, very knowledgeable in pedagogic methods of music but also uses his psychological skills to motivate his students adapting to their needs. I could not recommend him more.

I'll repeat, it was my fiance, father, and I. Two men and a woman. One of whom is the father of the woman. All of them ballroom dancing! Together. Awkwardness? Methinks inevitable. 2. How do I put this...I am uncoordinated. Not, like, oh-that's-cute-she-occasionally-stumbles-uncoordinated. Like, back-in-high-school-all-my-dance-teachers-talked-to-me-in-very-simple-sentences-because-they-assumed-I-was-intellectually-handicapped uncoordinated. Or like, as-I-type-this, one-of-my-thumbnails-is-bright-red-and-a-toenail-is-black-because-I-am-constantly-mashing-myself-into-things uncoordinated. 3. So are my father and fiance. ...Imagine my radiant thrill, therefore, to report that all 3 of us successfully learned to foxtrot and rumba last night. Our teacher, Sarah, couldn't have been nicer or more funny. The staff was friendly and engaging. The studios were big and clean. Arthur Murray is an international franchise, meaning that there are some corporate-mandated policies that might rub guests the wrong way. Alarm bells enforce strict limits on 45-minute lessons, and I can tell that there's some pressure on employees to sell dance lesson packages. However, I can't begrudge the individuals who worked with us these quirks, since they're clearly beyond their control. Anyone who can teach me to dance in 90 minutes - after 27 years of total ineptitude - is a hero.

https://www.reddit.com/user/JColangelo69/draft/5c6bd5be-7ff7-11ee-8716-6a366ab7e295…read moreFIJI (frat) during their pledge process introduce kids to this concept of agenting. Agenting is where the pledges essentially become bookies and their job is to recruit other kids to place bets with them and then the agents get paid in proportion to how much the people they brought in gambled. Kids who have graduated from this frat years ago are the ones who run this and make money off of it and that is why it continues on and every pledge class gets introduced to the concept. It opens the floodgates for gambling addictions by introducing the idea to pledges in a positive way and it is portrayed as an easy way to make money instead of what it actually is which is a hook to get the new pledges into gambling so that they place bets themselves and in turn make more money for the higher ups who have graduated and are now running this program. So when Lucca pledged fiji in 2018 they introduced him to agenting and he became a booky taking bets from other people which is how this whole problem started because once Lucca was into the agency he saw gambling as an easy way to make money and started betting himself instead of just taking other people's bets. Which is why when the first incident ended all those Maryland kids sent back the money because they didn't want their money making operation to get blown up by this whole scheme going public. FIJI got kicked off of Maryland's campus in the fall of 2018 before luccas pledge class was formally initiated into the frat so all of the kids in luccas pledge class included joined this other frat sigma nu. The boys who were brothers of fiji weren't allowed to join because the frat was kicked off but lucca and his pledge class were allowed because they were not formally initiated into fiji yet and therefore not fiji brothers so they were allowed to join another organization. So it is my best assumption that this scheme is still going on except now it is going on through sigma nu since fiji got shut down. My son Lucca Colangelo was admitted to UMD in 2018 when he was just 17 years old, Lucca attended Blind Brook High School where he was a captain for a baseball team and for a football team as well ( If you google his name, you will see how many awards he got ), Lucca was an A student and a remarkable athlete. Second year at UMD we noticed changes in Lucca, I reached out to the students help center and was told that UMD was a College and not a High School where parents got involved, I noticed a lots of illegal activities going on at UMD Campus and an E-mail was sent by me and I never got a reply. This school do not keep eye on what goes on campus, do not allowed parents involvement and close their eyes to serios matter like booking on campus, save your son's life, dont send him there. Making a long story short, Lucca becoming a booking and an agent in your fraternity, he come home unannounced in many occasions with other brothers to steal from us, it took me over an year but I finally gathered all my evidences about what really went on during these pledges, I even have police report from few occasions that we traveled to MD, I have evidences of what transpired and why FIJI was shut down, Lucca never graduated, he remains on a gambling / mental facility, and we got stuck with a college loan that we cant afford due to his mental illness created by your fraternity, I am ready to go PUBLIC with it and sue this entity.

This location is easy to get to, and it's in a convenient location, as there are plenty of shops and good places to eat at nearby. The University of Phoenix is a great place for people with a full schedule to get the education they need to further their careers. I wouldn't say that it's the best place to get the most thorough education, but it gets the job done. The vast majority of the students I've been in class with have been working professionals who understand what it's like to have full-time job with responsibilities, which is important since every class includes a lot of team homework. I'm pretty happy with most of my instructors so far. I've had a few who I didn't really consider professional, but most have been friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to get along with. If you're looking to finally go after that degree, or continue your education while still working, then Phoenix is a good place to do that, especially if you have the GI Bill. Good luck!

Separate from the main campus, HUSL has a wonderful location right down from the embassies on Van Ness Street. Tree lined streets with convenient Metro access to an area that is a well balanced mix of a commercial and residential neighborhood is where you will find the school. The law library is huge. Although it is 20 years old, the library was built for the 21st Century. There are plenty of tables where you can plug in and type/surf away. There are also row after row of books for those that wish to get lost between the pages. Inside the school you will find classrooms that have seen generations of students come, grow, and then move out into the world to make an impact. The classroom environment is one of interest and learning. The students want to learn. And if they are not in class, it is common to come across a group of students studying in the halls or in the small study rooms. Do yourself a favor, look for quality and the ability to change the world. When you look, ask yourself, "Am I ready to HUSL?"

Let's start from the beginning - getting to the building. It's actually best to get here from 66 (HOV), else you have to do a u-turn. We all should know by now that u-turns in the Ballston area are at your own risk! The building has its own garage, so parking is a breeze - just drive past the VT sign, make a right, and get your parking ticket. The building itself is grand - looks like it was freshly renovated. Conference facilities are fabulous - auditorium seating, ikea white "space" tables, two electrical outlets per seat, public ethernet, and microphone - all you need to have a scholarly "good time." The best part - the bathrooms are immaculate. They also have a "trough" style hand wash basin, which I'm a HUGE fan of. Very eco-friendly toilets as well. The professors, students, and staff are also extremely friendly and much smarter than I am, so I hope i have more reasons to visit again!

That passion nurtured by every single music teacher he encountered, Ms Benjamin, Ms Ashman, Mr Maybury. He got to experience a once in a life time trip to Peru guided by Ms Dillon and Mr Castro. Now my daughter is a student here. Once again the teachers have been supportive and caring. She is very shy and very withdrawn at the beginning of the year but with the help of Ms Paley and a theater class, she has emerged from her shell. And her love for art encouraged by Ms Ely has let her express herself. Her struggles with math almost broke her but the patience and encouragement she excelled with the help of Mr Snyder and Ms Rau. The email's I have gotten over the years praising for good work, and concerned with not so good work really has shown how caring the teachers are. I wouldn't have wanted them to be any please else.
