In early June 2026, I reached out to Mary Dodd to have my astrology chart prepared. She requested full payment of $350 in advance and explained that the service would include a detailed chart for the year, along with a thorough explanation so that I could fully understand the material.
The chart was completed and emailed to me within a couple of weeks. After reviewing it, I found that I was unable to interpret the information on my own. When I shared this with her, she acknowledged that the content can feel like a foreign language without prior knowledge of astrology. We then attempted to schedule a Zoom session so she could walk me through the chart.
Unfortunately, we were never able to find a mutually workable time. Over the course of nearly three months, each proposed date was postponed due to various circumstances on her end, including family obligations, guests, illness, or other appointments. As a result, the explanatory portion of the service was never delivered.
I have since requested a partial refund and am no longer interested in continuing the process. Ms. Dodd has declined to accommodate that request and has attributed the scheduling difficulties to me.
I share this experience so that others may have a clearer understanding of what to expect.
UPDATE TO MARY DODD's RESPONSE
Mary, a few important facts are missing from your response.
You yourself described the report as feeling like a "foreign language" and hard to understand. That is exactly why a follow-up conversation was needed.
On the scheduling: you repeatedly said you were "very flexible," then immediately had conflicts when specific times were offered. Times were pushed from that evening, to the next day, to late evening, then to the week after next. After I confirmed I was available during the day, the next message I received was that you were dealing with a serious respiratory issue and we would "get together soon."
I did not simply "choose not to continue." The repeated delays and lack of a confirmed time made it clear the consultation was not going to happen in any reasonable timeframe. It has now been three months. I have lost all interest.
Regarding the partial refund: you offered $100 after I had already received the report and after the consultation had still not taken place. I paid $350. $100 won't even buy groceries in today's economy, and it does not address the core issue -- the service as a whole was incomplete without the discussion we both agreed was needed.
