No frills and nothing fancy, but clean. Pros: - Almost brand new hotel - Very clean - Plenty of parking - Restaurants and Walmart nearby - Staff was nice and accommodated me with my requests for a bottom floor. Cons: - Not any worth mentioning - It is Del Rio (but this is not their fault) Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through. While I was there, I tried Humo Prime BBQ nearby and it was knock your socks off good. Try it while you stay here at this location! Enjoy.

I explained, told them it had never been an issue, asked if we could change everything to my husband's name and use his credit card, and they said "No" and refused to do anything to help me. I then spent the next 30 minutes trying to relocate and defer costs to my credit card. Will never book at Fairfield again.

There is a big $59 sign on the roof, but our room was $80. Super nice people worked both in the evening check-in and morning check-out. They issue metal keys in true motel fashion. I am financially comfortable yet price sensitive ... I hate this new price point of $200+ to sleep a few hours. Most hotels are rip-offs. I will return to Del Rio Inn if I overnight in the area again.

Under new management and recently remodeled, the inn boasts comfortable beds and a staff that goes above and beyond in friendliness. The location is convenient, and although I didn't get to enjoy the pool due to the chilly weather, it's a nice addition. Overall, its a good place for the price. Thank you, Del Rio Inn, for a pleasant stay!

I can't say enough about the personal service my wife and I received from Mario, the owner of this…read morebusiness. My wife and I were moving to Mexico to the United States. We had two cats and our dog in the car. We tried to cross the border but we had an issue w a title for an atv that we were transporting and we couldn't cross. We found ourselves stuck in del rio tx w our pets. The mainstream downtown hotels were booked. We were recommended to call champions by another hotel because champions was pet friendly. Mario not only had a room, but he helped us find a storage solution for our atv and we were able to pass the border the following day. No other hotel would have helped strangers solve a problem like this. Mario has only owned the hotel for three months and there is no doubt that the hotel needs work. It was not a luxury hotel but it was a solution and it was delivered personally by a great owner. We didn't need luxury. We needed solutions. We've got to make a second trip to get more of our things moved down to Mexico. We will definitely stop by the champions inn on the next trip. Champions is not in the downtown area of del rio which we actually liked. We had plenty of space for our pets to rest peacefully before a very long travel day.
