Excellent quality workmanship for reupholstered sofa. Price was very fair. Great service!

We submitted request wuth photos attached for quote to reapholster our six dining room chairs. They provided several options including repolstering from the bottom if it was possible. We took one chair to their shop and after removing bottom covering determined they could. The top covering of the chairs were like new but they slumped when you sat in them. The sagging was caused by the straps that support the foam seat were worn out. So they inserted additional hand cut foam below the existing seat and then attached high quality, very strong nylon straps. Three criss crossed in each direction. Using pneumatic staple gun they secured the straps before cutting new black fabric to cover it. We did not even have to bring chairs to the shop. They came to the house, on time with all their tools, foam rubber and straps. In less than 2 hours Eduardo and his helper had all six chairs redone. Each chair is now like new. The cost was less than cist of one new chair that we priced at several furniture stores. The wood and construction on our chairs far superior to the new furniture. Highly recommend Martinez Fine Uoholstering shop if you have good funiture worth reapholstering. read more

Do not trust this person, especially his wife for quality work. She doesn't know a thing about customer service and doesn't care! They don't have any idea how to run a business or know what quality reupholstery should look like. They reupholstered 2 Wing chairs for me and did a thoroughly amateur job. The seat cushions were very poorly made. The welting was wavy, the thickness of the cushions varied around the perimeter. Some sections were narrower by 3/8". One cushion was thicker than the other and when you sat down on them they were completely flat! Overall thickness of cushions we're only 3", and standard is between 4-41/2". I asked repeatedly when I could come by and show Edwardo. No response but to try and deflect their poor workmanship by trying to blame me! She said they would remake them but I would have to pay for it?? I'm already paying for more fabric to remake their poor quality cushions. Paid over $500 for fabric and $1,000 for labor to end up with less than professional work and then receive the outrageous responses from Edwardo's wife! Stay away from this business and use a company that has a proven track record and a history of customer satisfaction you can verify. read more
