While Quest this morning was empty they had to send me to the third floor because "they are not being sent anyone's lab requests". I needed a fasting blood work and I arrived upstairs at 7:20. Feeling like I'm at a clam shack I take number 96. They are just calling 77!! If I wait I'll be late for work and if I come back I won't be able to eat until after 2pm. I had to go. Lady I. The elevator tells me she arrived before 630 and was number one!! And she says that they only have two phlebotomy staff and are no longer open on weekends unless you want to drive to Providence. Hawthorne has gone downhill. My PCP left, the entire staff of my ENT left. It's a patients nightmare. Shame on Brown.

It was the negligence of another employee. This was a Workmen's Comp. case. I have never been on Workmen's Comp. Before. My primary doctor referred me to Dr. Adelberg. On my 1st appointment he walked in the room and said "so tell me what happened in 10 words or less." He wasn't kidding. I felt rushed. He was very condescending as he said " well I can't fix this with medication" I told him I didn't want any medication. I just wanted to get back to work. He didn't listen to my concerns. He actually told me that because of my age (55) my knee and back would never get better so I would just have to deal with that.( keep me in mind I've never had knee and back trouble before the accident.) I'm not saying that the doctor is not knowledgeable or skilled in what he does, what I am saying is his personality is abrasive and offensive. I would not recommend him to anybody.

She never told me my blood pressure was high until a third visit showed it was high again and she recommended medication. Yes I was slipping in my lifestyle choices, and if she would've told me the first time my blood pressure was high I would've taken action instead of taking her pills. All she knows how to do is read test results and prescribe you medicine. I'm so glad I found another doctor. I know a lot of people that have left her, that's probably why she's taking patients and most doctors around here are not.

I've been seen at both the Fall River and Middletown offices. My daughter is now also a patient, I wouldn't trust her feet to any other doctor. Stephanie is great and very knowledgeable as well :)
