Our bill for 3 drinks was $14 and she gave us a change of $5 and $1. So I wanted to give her $3 tip for 3 drinks; I was gonna get 2 dollars from huge margarita glass tip jar and leave $5. It was just in front of her... Then she literally yelled at me "NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER TOUCH THAT!!! ITS SACRED FOR BARTENDERS!!! IF YOU NEED A CHANGE LET ME KNOW!!! She humiliated me and schooled me in front if my friends and several other people! Me being in schocked and trying to be nice... apologized and asked for a change so I could give her a $3 tip. I understand that I was wrong on that, but, she could have said it in a nicer way and not humiliate me in front of so many people. My intention was good, give her a good tip! My friends wanted to talk to her after but I told them to just brush it off. That's obviously the reason why she works as a bartender at a crappy event hall anyways! :)

It looks like it's brand new. Their crew also cleaned my wood floor prior to rug placement. The floor was marred due to a foam type mat under my old rug. They were able to remove the residue that was adhered to the floor, again, very pleased! I highly recommend their prompt, professional service.

I got in touch withe corporate office and they were no help. They said O'Rouke would reimburse me if I got a licensed inspector to look at the rug. I did. It cost me $210. Turns out it's not permanently damaged. He advised me to go to a professional rug shop and have the rug cleaned again to get all the detergent out of it. Service Master didn't clean it properly. He told me not to have them do it again as they are not trained to clean oriental rugs. Turns out O'rouke won't pay for the inspection or to have the rug properly cleaned and the corporate office says they have no control over franchisees. I wouldn't trust as company that licenses their name but won't stand behind their service. Give service master an F and don't use them. I have all the documentation. Happy to to share.

A haunting cemetery off a busy Main Street. It's on the National Register of Historic Places. Its…read moreproper name is the more antiquated "Burying Ground." Many of the gravestones have been lovingly restored, tho some have been lost to time and the elements. One can see tombstones with fascinating names like Jehiel Fish, Priscilla, Mrs. Thankful. It's a place for contemplation. People often relax on the benches out front. It's about two centuries old, and well-maintained. The historical society has been able to connect numbered graves with people's names. A place for history and contemplation.

Graves and poorhouses…read more The Methodist Society Graveyard was founded back in 1809 and is about one acre. Not a big cemetery but one that seems more spacious that the average 19th century graveyard because the graves aren't crushed together. Many of the older stones are getting difficult to read but I did see a couple from the 1820s. Most of the memorials are simple with only a couple of larger and more elaborate ones. The Falmouth Poorhouse was located near the old graveyard and most of the unfortunate people that lived and died there were buried with only a number on their grave. However some volunteers recently searched the old records and found names for many of the poorhouse deceased and placed a small memorial in their honor. Just a little graveyard that has a whole lot of history and memories. A simple cemetery that reflects the simple lives of the people of this area.
