Go to Tubbs to get your purses, bags, sequined vests, sequined ties, sequined dresses, T-shirts, feather boas, wigs, and on and on. I thought these were way over-the-top fashion-wise, but I was wrong. Once were were at the parade route, the clothing items that seemed so outrageous at Tubbs hardly stood out in the crowd of partying mardi gras celebrants! Next year I won't be such a stick-in-the-mud (fashion-wise) but will be out front partying down in my funny hat and sequined mini skirt!
