Dixie refuses to do her job, I wonder if it's to collect more money from us than our insurance will pay? I see it is a pattern that she causes issues for clients based on other reviews. My partner is the client, but I'm going in circles with her and my insurance for over a year now because she just "doesn't have time" to do "paper forms" which is not remotely accurate to how this works. Penny's responses here are defensive, unhelpful, and uncooperative. I've never dealt with such incompetent office staff or such an unkind overseeing individual like Penny Haight. I can only hope my partner will stop seeing his under trained provider at this location. I have a meeting with care team supervisors with my insurance for them to figure out why Dixie is violating Aetna's contract after many, many hours of calls trying to sort this out. I'm praying that solves this problem, this office owes me thousands of dollars at this point by charging me self pay rate and making me file my own claims. My insurance's system cant comprehend why an in-network provider is trying to make me file my claims. Dixie, Penny, I hope you really look inside yourself and think about how you're harming your clients before posting multiple paragraphs defending your improper and potentially illegal billing practices. As we were walking we found a cave, walked through it with our flashlights and came upon a door. Once we opened the door we were able to, one by one hand, over those things that were in our backpack and exit the cave. We came to another door which led us out to where we were carefree again. She has a super soothing voice and a really warm presence. I feel very comfortable around her, she definitely has a calming energy. Obviously that's perfect for her line of work! Laura isn't only naturally gifted at what she does, she's also extremely well educated and practiced. She has an M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health and has co-authored books on both neuroplasticity and nature rituals. She spent 8 years as a director of a PsychoNeuroPlasticity center in Texas. Her website says that she "blends neuroscience techniques, therapy approaches and interventions, and shamanistic practices" into her work based on her clients needs. Laura offers guided meditations, one on one sessions, customized rituals and ceremonies, spirit animal journeys, and more. I'm not sure what all of these things entail exactly, but I do know that Laura is on a mission to help people find peace and healing through better connecting with their own selves and with nature. I've only done two guided meditations so far, and both times I honestly felt so GOOD afterwards. You simply close your eyes while Laura directs you on what to visualize. Even though I had a hard time clearing my mind (it takes practice!!), it was so nice to physically feel my mind and body relax, even for a short while. I can only imagine how powerful and restorative Laura's energy is in person when it's so evident through a computer screen. I'm really excited to continue working with her and to share the word... she's wonderful!
