Updating my review before the year's end!…read more I obviously opted to return after my negative experience over the summer, and ever since that visit, the staff behind the front desk have been nothing but attentive, professional and kind. Alecjia is still the best of the best when it comes to nails, and always goes above and beyond. I have a very physical job, plus I am in the gym multiple times a week, and I have had my nails chip maybe twice in the last year between my bi-weekly appointments. When she has been booked, I've also had the pleasure of having Galina do my nails as well. Both women have their own unique touch to their services, but I've been happy with the outcome each time. The salon is beautiful since the unexpected "remodel" earlier this year, and is always kept in pristine condition.

Super long overdue review as I've been coming to this salon for a few years now. This salon was…read morepreviously called Zaza Salon, and now renamed to Salon Bennett. This salon offers many other services, from hair color, cutting, facials, massages, and more. I generally come in for just coloring and for my hair cuts. I love coming to get my hair colored. I've had Christy work on my coloring, and have gotten highlights/balayage. I am guilty of waiting far too long between sessions to get my hair done but every time I come in I feel like a new woman. There's also something about come out of getting your hair colors with no more gray lights, and shiny hair that just feels like an extra sparkle. My most recent time, I visited and was schedule for my hair cut with Izzy. She was a delight, she made me feel right at home. Talking me through my hair thickness and now to style it in a way that it will grow out healthy again. The check out process was super easy as well, we check out at the front and they adjust the type of services you had, and you pay and go about your day. Keep in mind that tipping is strictly cash, and you put it in an envelope fro your stylist.

0 stars. One year going to this salon. Always treated as if I were an "outsider/not worthy" of…read morereceiving their services. Many times, during the "year" at salon for haircut(always pre booked every 4 weeks with a chosen hair stylist), "glitches" in my appointment(s) when I arrived frequently occurred. Such as: 1. Appointment unfortunately erased by the computer - they( husband and wife(owners)) would scramble to fit me in -telling me to come back later or wait until my stylist arrived. 2. Hair stylist who had been cutting my hair, moved away. Salon owners said they booked me with the stylist's friend. Yet on the subsequent 3 appointments, new stylist not at salon for one reason or another. 2 times she finally arrived later than my booked time. 3. Caused me a feeling of humiliation, worthlessnes, uncomfortably , while sitting in a chair waiting for stylist to arrive, the 2 owners, behind desk communicating in their language which I do not understand, spoke loud enough for me to hear that they "seemed not to know what to do for me. After around 20 minutes waiting, I left salon. I never even received a phone call or text of apology. I don't recommend this salon for individuals who are not part of the so called ethnic community. P.S. - please give the male owner the name of a dentist

Exceeded all my expectations and then some!…read more I brought both my boys for a haircut. My youngest is 2 and does NOT like getting his haircut. Everywhere else I've taken him, he cried and screamed and we had to walk out. Alberto was SUPER patient and met us where we were and was able to show my son that haircuts are not scary and gave him a superb haircut. I was truly shocked that we got through a haircut without any tears and he looks fabulous! My 4 year old has never looked better after his cut as well. Alberto is a gem! Highly recommend A+

I personally saw Oscar (the Owner) from age 6 all the way to my early 20's. He cut my Dad's hair as…read morewell and for a long time he was my go-to for anything only a Barber could do. Unfortunately after returning from school out of state, he had changed. I came in tatted and pierced up because I'm an artist and was looking into school for tattoo and piercings and had plenty myself. The first thing he said wasn't "Hey man, long time no see!", it was "What the hell did you do to your face?". I explained that this was who I am now and it falls into my art, but he just judged me for how I looked. No mater what I said, he shamed me for it and told me to take that junk out of my face, then instead of seating me, handed me off to a rookie, still in training (which I didn't know at the time). She ruined my hair wile Oscar watched smiling and she even was shocked when I went to pay tearing up. She asked "Are you sure it's ok?", but I just wanted to leave so I payed and left. After that I never returned. I warned my parents and had my Dad stop wasting his money here. The environment went from splendid to toxic just like that, and I didn't want anyone I cared about to receive the same treatment I did. Wish I could give this place 0 Stars because it's worth none! You have been warned.

My first colorist was very nice. I liked the color. My only complaint was I had roots showing within a couple of days. I had joined the pro level subscription, which meant I could get my roots done as often as I wanted. This is where it went downhill. When I went to try to get my roots done, I was told there was nothing wrong with them, and it must be the lighting. For a company who says you can come in as many times as you'd like for root touch ups at the pro level, they certainly do not want you to. The tech did my roots. The next day, I dried my hair, and my roots were showing!! I used the powder they sold me, and waited two weeks. I went back for another root touch up. The same thing happened. I washed my hair, with appropriate products, and my roots appeared. Whatever they had been using since my first trip was not permanent. I now had well over a half an inch of roots. We come to today. The tech asked if I used demi-permanent or permanent dye. I said "Permanent dye." I was getting an all over dye color, hoping this would color all of my roots. I was shampooed. I dried my hair, and left. Imagine my shock and dismay when I looked in the mirror and saw my roots!! What products are they using over there? No, it's not the lighting. No, it's not an "ashy" color. I went home and my son noticed right away. My husband noticed when he came home. I am very disappointed. I have cancelled my membership.

This is a national chain and I first tried it out in another state. I really wanted to elevate the quality and consistency I was getting and Roosters did a fine job for a reasonable price. No longer was I worried about what I walked out with. Once I find someone I like, I usually stick with them. Depending on consistency and scheduling availability. For many years my stylist was Mauricio who I saw had many reviews on here and worked out well. Post pandemic shakeout and I landed with Krista. She has been great! Gave me some suggestions to improve my hairstyle which has really worked out. Always friendly, always attentive and always giving me the best cut I can ask for. I'm always confident post haircut and hope she stays for a long time! Roosters makes the scheduling easy on their app, the experience pleasant and has great stylists. They offer a number of services from haircuts to beard trims and full shaves. Yet, it's affordable once you decide to graduate from your $10 haircut.
