While the salesperson's may make you feel cozy with some old fashioned hospitality, don't be fooled. The service department that you'll have to deal with continuously throughout your ownership of the vehicles is wildly unprofessional and has a lack a timeliness to their work. Marshall's offers a lifetime powertrain warranty through a third party company, with this you must have your oil changed every 5 months or 5,000 miles regardless of what Ford tells you, or your warranty is null and void. Any and all service maintenance to your vehicle must be done by Marshall Ford and never trust a quote as your total at checkout will be more expensive. This company lacks clarity, customer service skills, management style, and is very unclear on all the fine print. The one reason I give this 2 stars is due to Donovan in the service department, after two weeks of my vehicle being there and being told various things of why I still didn't have an answer, he was the only one who was able to provide information and give me direction to clear up the confusion and frustrations of being not only with out a vehicle but who I should talk to get the ball moving.

An actual nice guy who seemed to be into cars and didn't pressure me into anything. His boss though, wowzers. I knew the truck I was looking at had been on the lot for months, and when I told them so I kind of got bullied. Listen, I could care less about you making a sale and I don't like taking peoples crap. He thought I was crazy about walking away over 500 bucks, but he knew I was serious. Ultimately they went down like $4000 and I got a good deal on my trade-in. Wasn't the worst place I've ever bought a car, but definitely not the same experience as say Carmax, or any dealer that doesn't haggle. It's a small dealership, so I think they try to keep their markup as high as possible. Know what you're getting yourself into, do your homework, as I think there's deals to be had if you stick to your guns. Seems like they have a lifetime powertrain warranty on a lot of their cars and that's a nice touch especially if you plan on keeping yours for a long time part of the reason I went here was because of the warranty. Now mind you the day that it broke down we had just made our third month payments and I called and asked for help and there was nothing he could do for me he said that he would work with me on the 4th month's rent in order to get this Jeep fixed well it's impossible to keep this Jeep fixed for less than what he's asking for it so we did not make the fourth month payment which is in August next month's payment isn't due until September 1st

I agree to a figure they agreed with the figure also but then come back with a contract already printed out to a $500 higher price and what I agree to,, they refuse to own it to that agreed price that the salesman had presented. A worksheet would have avoided any of this confusion but I don't think they want to work that way and then on top of that they had a person or something on their website that was an AI version called Grace. The AI person agreed with everything I said and said they would work it out also I was given only one set of keys and the AI person said they would get me a duplicate as a backup then the dealership tried to charge me $200 for a spare key,, not very happy. I bought a RAM Promaster van at another dealer out of state. McCubbin is ten minutes from my house…read moreso I took the van there for an oil change and mentioned a leak near the radiator. They said that it was a small leak from the transmission cooling hose and that I could have them changed out at the next oil change. I have been driving this van daily for eleven months without ANY issue. I took it in for the oil/hose change and they called me saying my transmission needed to be replaced! This was odd to me because again NEVER an ISSUE. I told them it was under warranty so they made a parts list/bid and submitted it to the warranty company but couldn't do the work because they aren't certified to work on Promasters. I picked up the van and made it two blocks before the transmission went out. AGAIN, NEVER A SINGLE ISSUE WITH THE TRANSMISSION and it magically goes out two blocks from their shop. Odd, don't ya think.

Took my car in for two tires and asked for the sensors to be replaced and a diagnosis on my ac…read morewhich was blowing only hot air. They did not replace the sensors but charged me for them and told me my ac needed a new blend door actuator which they had to order. I went back in when i noticed my valve stems had not been replaced and they said they must have forgotten to replace the tire sensors. They made that right so i went back when the blend door actuator came in (mistakes happen) So they replace the blend door actuator and tell me my ac still doesn't work bc the control module is bad too and they would have to look for that part used. I ended up finding one and replacing it myself (no more work required than replacing a stereo) That didn't fix it either. I called and asked if they had any other suggestions. She asked the mechanic and he said maybe the heater box, i could bring it back in. At this point I'm into it over 200.00 so i go elsewhere for a second opinion. The mechanic i go to takes me back to the shop and shows me, there are 3 blend doors in my car. The one they replaced switches my vent settings, the one that is bad is the one that switches from heater to ac (hence why it's only blowing heat, not ac) I go back to edens to explain this and tell them they've cost me over 200.00 in unnecessary work. She says well that one was bad too. I asked, didn't they even check the others before suggesting the temp control module etc? She says she's "fucking tired and she can't deal with this fucking shit." She says she's going to get someone from the back. I left. I will not be doing business there again.
