After a brief look, we were told they did not have a Parvo test kit and that we needed to go immediately to the Brazoria clinic. We were told they would call ahead to let Brazoria know we were coming specifically for Parvo testing. When we arrived at the Brazoria clinic, our puppy was taken to the back for an exam. We reasonably assumed that the Parvo test and blood work were being done, since that was the entire reason we were sent there. Instead, the veterinarian blamed us for her illness, stating that feeding her plain chicken breast the night before caused a GI infection. His demeanor was dismissive and arrogant. Relieved we weren't told it was Parvo, we trusted his diagnosis and went home -- after paying a very expensive bill. The next day, our puppy continued to decline and had not eaten in over 24 hours. When I called the Brazoria clinic, I was told -- very matter-of-fact -- that our very sick puppy was just being "stubborn" and would eat when she was hungry. The following morning she was dramatically worse, barely able to walk. We rushed her to a different veterinarian. After extensive testing, X-rays, and blood work, she continued to deteriorate. At my insistence, they tested her for Parvo. Within 10 minutes, the results came back positive. We immediately called the Brazoria clinic and discovered that she was NEVER tested for Parvo there -- despite being sent to that location specifically for that reason. The veterinarian made the decision to completely disregard Parvo testing. Had our puppy been properly diagnosed days earlier, she would never have come so close to dying. We would not have spent thousands of dollars, nor been forced into emergency weekend hospitalization. Please save your time, money, and heartache and avoid both the Brazoria and West Columbia veterinary clinics. Their lack of thoroughness, accountability, and compassion nearly cost our puppy her life. According to them, she was "just stubborn."

We took him to a different vet and she told us that there was no curing him and that I had done everything I possibly could.

This is VERY IMPORTANT because if your service dog is drugged and sedated it cannot do its job once it leaves the vet for several hours (not 30 minutes as he said) and he disregarded my request. No wonder his middle name is "SAVAGE" MORE IMPORTANTLY: I called in two days later because my dog was having severe diarrhea from the antibiotics prescribed and I wanted to know what I can do to help with that since charcoal is not an option and it would pull the medicine out of her system. They said we can't help you because you're not a client here anymore DESPITE THE FACT I PAID FOR SERVICES! ALMOST every employee came to see 1 of my 2 cats; PurrC-Percy was the center of attention for 20 minutes!! he's a big boy...24lbs very soft and mellow kitty, so everyone was petting him, and there was lots of noise and movement in and out. but, meanwhile, in his carrier, was my nervous 10lb boy, Rufus. The longer this was taking, the more upset he got. he eventually started, growling and hissing. I held him, but those 20 minutes put him over the edge. by the time he got on exam...tech had to cover him in a towel. vet got 1 shot, and Rufus went Kujo-Kitty! he started screaming... got up and out of that towel soo fast, FLEW OFF the exam table and back into his carrier. he charged the opening of his carrier as it was being closed...hissing. it was very traumatic for him; he should have been first, but the tech had gotten Percy to the exam table first. so not only did I wait an hour to be seen...1 cat didn't complete his exam. im not going back to this clinic, it's just too busy.

Completely came out of nowhere, I had to call animal control which took 3 days to remove my cat from my home..My first instinct was to call my "trusted veterinary clinic" I was asked from the woman over the phone "Why would you bring her here?". Extremely disrespectful and disheartening to hear that from the last people to touch your baby! I wanted to ensure that I was not going to be continuously charged for my CareClub plan so I have now called 3-4 times and physically went into the office to show the staff the severity of my wounds.. I was assured by the wonderful receptionists (THE MOST HELPFUL AND CONSIDERATE employees!) that I would receive a phone call from the Office Manager on Thurs, the 19th. I never received a call, so I called first thing Friday morning and was told that "oh the manager took care of it." I understand the situation was "taken care of", I deal with legal agreements daily. Maybe it's too much to ask, but I would have expected some sort of email addressing the termination of the agreement. WHERE IS THE COMMUNICATION?!?!?!? WorldClass Veterinarian? Hmm do your research.

She ended up doing an ultrasound and eventually an emergency splenectomy. Dr Amanda was supposed to get off work at noon, but stayed til after she performed the surgery and after Annie woke up. Called us and thoroughly explained everything she did, and what she found. Then went and checked on her again at 3am and again at 7am. On a Sunday. Called me with updates, even sent a little video of how she was doing. I picked her up on Monday, Dr Amanda was there and meticulously explained what she found, and how to deal with it. I have not felt as trusting with any vet before. She was amazing, and I knew my girl was in the most committed compassionate hands i could have wanted. After looking at reviews from nearby locations, we decided to give above and beyond a try. We brought Phoebe in for a split toenail that started bleeding a little bit. They took of care of her, and got her fixed up quickly. No fuss. Dalé (Dahl-ay) went in for a suspicious scab on her chin and an old dog checkup. And she came back with perfect test results and no lasting issues. At 13 my girl is doing fantastic. Throughout our visits, the staff have been fantastic from the front desk to the technicians to the veterinarians. Everyone has been very welcoming. The dogs have been very comfortable and everything was done with such great care. In addition to bail triage we've had shots, fine needle aspirations, and urine tests. There wasn't so much as a whimper out of them. Treats and cheese make them compliant. As we were going through questions and treatment options and things like that that we discussed cost so nothing was surprising as it came through.
