I am asking my neighbors to be aware and careful. I spent a lot of money to buy my daughter red bottoms for a college graduation gift. I asked the shop to simply put clear shoe protectors on the bottom. These are available on Amazon for $9 dollars for a set of 2. He charged me $80 And ruined the shoes. When I called, he didn't care. Please be careful read more

I came in for an easy fix for my Louis Vuitton Trousse 23. The zipper pull came off and I found this place on Yelp. I didn't shop around so I can't really speak about pricing, but he completed the job and I was able to pick up my item in a few hours. If I had any other repairs, I'd go here. read more

I took a pair of Birkenstocks that I've had for 45 years in a color they don't make anymore, along with a rubber pair of Birkenstock Bostons with a broken strap that Birkenstock doesn't have replacements for. and not only did Mark resole my 45 year old leather Birks, fix the strap on the rubber ones, his price was fair and workmanship unmatched I'm glad that artisans still exist. I've been taking my shoes to Mark for over 20 years. Even once I moved out of the neighborhood, I make the drive to ensure Mark takes care of my shoes. He is a hardworking professional and has never once not had my shoes ready when promised and repaired exactly as needed. His prices are fair and the quality of work is second to none. You won't regret trusting him with your goods! read more

Mark is a "Shoe Wizard!" He has restored 3 pairs of shoes to brand new mint condition- that I sincerely thought I would be grateful to just have in decent condition. There were broken soles that needed to be rebuilt and water stains on leather that I didn't think could be corrected. I was wrong. He made my favorite shoes brand new again. Wow! I highly recommend this business! read more

Mark has such a kind and welcoming demeanor & handled different repairs on two shoes I brought in. He was able to stretch a pair of heels that were quite small and remove embellishments off another heel. His prices are affordable and the results are undeniable. Quick turnaround too! I came to the shoe repair as a last effort to fix a very expensive pair of Louis Vuitton shoes that I had purchased many years prior and have only been able to wear twice because the soul completely came apart from the platform shoe. I explained to the gentleman that helped me that I had attempted to have them repaired at another shop years ago, and it literally came apart the same day. He assured me that he would be able to fix my shoes once and for all, he even with permission asked me if he could open up the bottom of the shoes so he can show me exactly why the first attempt failed. He explained everything in detail where I could understand it, he was very detailed oriented and extremely helpful. My shoes are ready exactly on the day that he had promise and it was worth every penny. I've had no issues with the shoes whatsoever and I definitely plan on bringing more shoes to his shop. I would recommend this repair shop if you want your shoes fixed correctly with a professional that knows what they're doing. read more

I love Mark. He's a sweetie and has the most reasonable pricing for a shoe repair I have found. Plus unbelievably, there is parking. Something that has always alluded me when visiting previous shoe repairs. He's my new shoe guy!! read more

Extremely disappointed. Service is overpriced and work was shoddy. Had two pairs of shoes "fixed" here and a battery replaced in a watch for which I was grossly overcharged. I recommend taking your watches to an actual jeweler. On my shoes, you can see the glue, and the work was incomplete when I went to pick up at scheduled time.I cannot recommend this business. Way too expensive for the poor quality of work. Everyone's items are strewn about in this messy shop which is a reflection of how much he cares about customers items. I saw shoes sitting on top of someone's purse, and bags of shoes thrown about. He doesn't even take the time to clean the item. I left feeling taken advantage of. He is not transparent about pricing. read more

Mark is the best there is! He can repair anything. My husband and I have been going to him for 16 years now since we moved here and he always does an amazing job. His prices are fair, upfront and the work is done within a few days to a week. He works his butt off for his clients. There aren't many shoe repair people of his caliber left. He's also a great guy. read more

Charged me 35 dollars to glue the plastic pad on the bottom of my platform heel. Fell off same week. Waste of time and money. Not to mention it was so overpriced... I didn't mind paying for good work but I am looking at the glue used and it's not even on the entire bottom of the shoe. Ugh the worst. read more

I knew when I dropped my beautiful ceramic necklace on the floor, there was only one person who would be able to repair it and make it look like new again and that was Mark. No matter what I've challenged him with over the years - whether it be jewelry, shoes or handbags needing repair - Mark has always figured out how to repair and make them look beautiful again. I've been going to Mark for years. He always gets me right. If l need an adjustment, he's happy to make it. Great work and service!

Wish I didn't have to write this review because the owner does seem to be a good guy. But Unfortunately he doesn't back up his work. Motorcycle jacket zippers are made with extra durability. Having more of the same motorcycle jacket for almost 13 years the zipper slide started to give out. In taking the jacket to this man I thought he would understand that. Not a week after getting it fixed I was going down the freeway and my jacket zipper broke open and turned into a cape. I have never known a jacket especially motorcycle jacket to brake open from wind alone. Pretty dangerous. The slide was actually intact when I dropped it off. I was simply looking for an attachment that I could grip. So the replacement parts must've been much cheaper or improperly installed. I took the jacket back to him today and he offered $5 off a replacement. Even if he had offered to replace it out of good faith, I would have been hesitant to receive another faulty repair. If anyone knows a good company that can repair a motorcycle zipper please don't hesitate to respond. read more

Very disappointed with this service. Went in to fix two broken zippers on my gym bag and he quoted me $30 which I thought was a little expensive but I like to support local businesses so I thought ok. All he did was put a zipper on one of the two broken tracks, and when I asked him why he didn't fix both he said I never asked him which it's clearly broken and I told him to please fix it. $30 for one zipper replacement is absurd.. then proceeded to tell me $10 more to fix the other. Just ridiculous horrible customer service and was talking on the phone the entire time. Will never be back again or recommend to anyone! read more

Mark's Shoe Repair is just amazing. I've been taking my shoes to Mark for years, and he's always done a fantastic job. I recently brought in my favorite vegan leather boots, which had been trashed in a few different ways over time and looked sad, dirty, and broken-down, with one heel so worn that the boots were completely lopsided. When I picked them up, it was as if Mark had rolled back the clock and returned the boots to how they'd looked many years before. I was amazed! So happy with Mark's work and will always keep coming back. read more
