From the outside it looks like a junk shop for motorcycles on the inside it also looks like a junk shop for motorcycles and Patrick the Italian (sounds like one) proprietor is dressed to work on motorcycles. So all in all the whole experience of getting my bike serviced was initially OMG. Let me tell you, what Patrick doesn't know about bikes isn't worth remembering, whilst I was at the shop a few other bikers called in for bike repairs & servicing. Appearances can be deceiving & I believe places like these must be kept alive in this time of austerity. Patrick did exactly what he said he would do & recommended other work to keep the bike tip top without the pressure of salesman ship like I have found in dealerships. I will certainly be returning to have Patrick work on my bike. Looks like a 1 star establishment but deserves a 4 from me. Reasonable price to boot.

I stopped off in Sunderland (I have a friend that lives there) and spent Saturday morning calling several motorcycle repair places. They all said "sorry, don't work today" or "sorry, fully booked" or "sorry, don't have the parts". DiT called me back about 20 seconds after I left a message and said to come in and take a look. Sorry, I didn't catch the owners name! Anyway, I went to the shop where he looked at the bike and diagnosed that it was (as suspected) the relay. Unsurprisingly, he didn't have a replacement relay for my bike lying around, but he made one up for me from other components. AWESOME. I was (and am) very grateful to him. Top bloke. Great mechanic.

It is very easy to find as there are few shops on the road, it is mostly a residential area. The shop usually has an outdoor display of vehicles but the window front is clear glass and the entire showroom can be viewed from the road. Visually, the store looks very impressive and is always clean, well organised and sparkly. The vehicles are top quality and always in excellent working condition as well as looking bright and new - with bikes available ranging from those intended for experienced riders to those meant for beginners. The staff here are very knowledgeable and will be able to offer advice to any customers. They are also very friendly and chatty and will treat you with respect. If you are visiting the store parking is available at street level with some spaces behind the back yards behind the residential housing estate. It is certainly the best specialist shop in the area.

I previously took my cbt 2 years ago with another company and have found that my previous training and time taking my assessment was nowhere near the standard that Ace give.
