I recently had my car inspected for safety and to evaluate tires and brakes for repairs. I was told…read moreI needed 2 new tires which is what I planned for. I was told everything else (fluids, brakes, front tires, etc) looked good. They ordered my tires and I waited for 5 hours for a call that the car was ready. When I received the call, I was told the tires never made it on the truck. They knew I had no more time to wait so I asked them to put my tires as they were and I would have to buy elsewhere. They told me it was urgent so I didn't delay. When I went to my other tire place to replace the bald tires, I was told the lug nuts were stripped and they couldn't remove 2 of my tires. I immediately called Hindsman & Son and was rudely dealt with by Steve. He accused me of never being there because I wasn't given an invoice. He said they had no record of me being there because I didn't pay anything. Again, I didn't purchase invisible tires that never showed up so no, I didn't pay anything. Then he argued that they never touched my tires even though they inspected the brakes and everything for safety? Bottom line is they messed up two of my tires and didn't have the decency or integrity to own up to it. They sent me on my way with stripped lug nuts and bald tires. This was a horrible experience from start to finish. They even lied about not having my number. They finally fixed the issue, I hope as I'm not a mechanic, but then they again sent me on my way with a bald tire. They never even put the new one on. They treated me like I had done something wrong when I returned the car for them to fix their mistakes. I have alerted my family as well so no one takes a chance at this place. They especially pray on single women and treat them like they are stupid. I will also be in touch with the better business bureau. Proceed with caution people!

They are LIARS, THIEVES, and CON ARTISTS to the extent that will make your head spin! $1100 for a transmission that, in total, ended up costing me close to $6700!!!! I've never in my entire life took a vehicle somewhere to get it fixed, and ended up getting it back (6 weeks later) in worse shape than I dropped it off! I took it to another transmission shop that has been rebuilding transmissions for close to 50 years, and I have documentation that states these guy's did nothing.... NOTHING.... To my transmission but make it worse! It is May 2nd, 2025 and I STILL..... STILL HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO SAFELY DRIVE MY TRUCK! Do your background checks on these people, and please take what I'm saying SERIOUSLY and save yourself time and money! I HATE DOING THIS, but I cannot honestly take these guys doing this to anyone else! I'm actually getting ready to file a civil suit against them and take them to court in order to recoup some of my money, and the other truck I bought and trailer! Yeah, you read that right!
