The entrance is directly around the back of the café and hides what is quite a large shopping market. Inside they have all the usual dry goods, fridge items as well as some fruit and veg. They don't however do fresh meat so you'll have to pop to the butchers for that. It has a great selection of grappa though and they always have sample to try so take full advantage of that. The walnut and hazelnut varieties are very good. Keep an eye out for the Hitler and Mussolini labeled wine which is worth a chuckle. A good and well stocked spot and even had a New Zealander working there when I was last in which was strange (but nice.)

I was able to get a phone charger since I forgot part of mine. I also got snacks and some gift cookies, etc. I had to go back twice to get apples since I couldn't figure out the scale system and got that disapproving look. But after asking my tour guide how, I went back and successfully bought them. Very nice store and the prices seemed good to me. They had some pre-made food and sushi as well although I did not try any of that.

A couple of fresh meat / seafood & deli counters. The choice is pretty good and the prices are reasonable. They have a decent selection of wine and liquor as well. Don't get me wrong... there is absolutely nothing wrong with this mini-supermarket... but nothing is going to blow you away. Despar is a chain of supermarkets ... actually Despar is owned by the same people who own Eurospoar (medium-sized markets) and Interspar (genuine SUPER markets), if I have that right. If you are in need of a supermarket because you need bottled water and toothpaste and some snacks (I think they have a small deli in back, too), this is a good stop... It's hard to tell from the front and if you aren't familiar with the name/signage, you might walk right by without knowing that this is place to stop if you don't want to spend €75 on minibar candy in your hotel. I'm pretty sure this is a walking street only so don't expect to pull your car up and load with groceries.
