I was able to get a phone charger since I forgot part of mine. I also got snacks and some gift cookies, etc. I had to go back twice to get apples since I couldn't figure out the scale system and got that disapproving look. But after asking my tour guide how, I went back and successfully bought them. Very nice store and the prices seemed good to me. They had some pre-made food and sushi as well although I did not try any of that.

MPreis overall is a great store with very high quality fruit and vegs, great bread, excellent meat, cold cuts, meat, dairy, etc; they have a nice wine selection. There are many Mpreis's in Tirol and all the ones I've shopped in are consistantly good, some larger than others and some with rather distinctive architecture. This store has saved us many times on a Sunday when guests are coming and we are out of something.

This Eurospar is one of the grocery stores in Castelrotto. It was handy to our Hotel (Cavallino…read mored'Oro/Goldenes Rössl) and perfect for supplying our room with wine, especially those native to this Alto-Adige region of Italy. I also found it an interesting place to watch folks just going about their daily business.
