I struggled with many things and she has really helped me to recover from severe PTSD, paralyzing anxiety and complex trauma. Yes I did say recover. Of course, I put in A LOT of work and took ALL of her suggestions. She has a very nurturing sense to her but at the same time has no problem pulling the covers on certain issues. I think choosing a therapist is a very personal experience, and for me Kim was one of the best decisions I've made. I have implemented many of her suggested coping mechanisms in my daily life and have found freedom and hope. I would say I have a pretty normal life nowadays. I have the confidence to move forward in literally every area of my life. I have always been treated with the utmost respect and compassion. Kim is who I would describe as a very real person. She treats you as a human being and I never once felt afraid to share what was going on, the good bad and indifferent. She has had the availability to schedule me for emergency sessions as needed. I have made a dramatic swing in the last several months, I was at a point where I was barely leaving my home, and just so tired from fighting the daily struggle to function, to now operating efficiently and effortlessly in most areas. I can assure you, if you feel like you need therapy, I personally have wasted a lot of time looking for the right fit. Save yourself some time and just cut right to the chase, she's no nonsense. She is knowledgeable in many areas, and is constantly learning about new things. I feel this is very important as there are so many changes happening nowadays. Putting your life in someone's hands is basically what you're doing when hiring a therapist, and there is no one I would trust more with my life and mental health than Kimberly Jordan, the LMFT that lead me back to contentment and helped me to get to a place where I can get to know myself better. I'm proud to say I am actually fully able to care of myself thanks to the intensive work that we've done.
